If there’s one thing about the movie business that bothers me and to an extent movie fandom, is the way people mythologize some directors and actors, like we give them leeway over stupid comments just because they are good at what they do

I’m used to John having idiotic takes on certain movies but saying the remake of TLM is better than the animated original? 😅John is on meth. Yeah movies are subjective blah blah but come on

People didn't hate Anne Hathaway because she was in too much. People just didn't like her personality and thought she was a fake little ms perfect. A lot of the times, these actors get hate for their personalities, more than their performances.

For some reason I really don’t think people care all that much about the Ezra stuff. John keeps talking about how the drama will impact the film but I think he’s just overreacting because of his job and he hears about it all the time. I doubt the average movie goer really gives two shits about it.
I don’t think John’s team agrees with 97 out of 100 movies from Netflix are garbage and that’s fine. I think most of Netflix movies are bad maybe not 97 out of 100 but they are bad.
But personally I don’t go on Netflix to watch their movies.
38:00 to this point too, the Hitman’s bodyguard is a movie on par with Red Notice and all the others (imo) and did well enough to get a sequel
Tarantino, imo, has his head a little too far up his own butt. I like that he is so into cinema but everything is his way or the highway. And hey, he's super successful so it's working out for him. But there's a way to address this kind of stuff that would be taking more of the high road, again imo, and then there's the way he usually takes.
Man of steel is top so.far I can't wait for Flash
if im being honest, i have not really followed the show in its change in format….. i really liked the old format and this new one just doesnt keep me as engaged, so i never really found out if there was any particular reason for the change, im going to try and get into this new format because i miss hearing about film news as well as the banter between the hosts, would love to know the reason for the change though
About Quinton Tarentino's movie what about The Irishmen I feel Quinton is talking out ass and grabbing low hanging fruit.

I really liked Little Mermaid, 'Kiss the Girl' and 'Part of Your World' being my fave. Got to say the original Disney anime is much more fun tho Halle Bailey was brilliant in this version.
