I’m with the above comment about plexiglass windows. And maybe safety glasses during the hail? A few inches up and that would’ve gone into your eye. Scary!! Glad you’re safe. Good luck getting all that glass fixed, and your lip.

I live in Clovis, NM. Sorry this happened to you! I watched the chase up until the storm hit Clovis and decided to finish watching the stream to see how it went… guess not so well. 😅We had a house window get busted and a neighbor had two of theirs bust as well. Definitely a decent amount of damage, but it could always be worse. Hope the next chase goes better!

I got caught in that storm last night. Luckily I parked just before it hit so I could eat at Russell Travel Center near Glenrio. I was driving an 18 wheeler with a light load. So high winds make me nervous.
