fast 8 or 9 dom names his son Brian and he looks into the sky showing and acknowledging paul walker died in this universe but yet in fast 9 they show a Gtr pull up to the house showing paul walker is still alive

Tbh i enjoyed fast 7 and brians appearance did make sense since paulwalker did initially shoot out some scenes before his passing. The cgi alone up to the end was a tribute in itself. They couldve killed off brian after that in fast 8, a movie that started with funeral would have sorted out this mess that was fast x. And fast 8. There has been many similar incidents like fred andrews death in riverdale after the passing of the actor. Not only did it make sense, it was a tribute but most importantly it left no room for awkwardness in the plot. Now fast 8 and fast x looks like they are forcing brians presence without his appearance which some may consider very disrespectful. Ruins the franchise tbh like unless u continue with cgi. It makes no sense to have him in the movies and his wife would have moved on and be more involved in the movies than she was on the latest film. This closure is not only for paul walker btw it’s necessary for brian and mia along with the other fast crew. It pisses me off really that they brush off brian like that. Especially the letty and roman scene. That one really upset me as an audience member
If you've seen Fast X it really seems like it only make sense that Brian comes back. AI & CGI has gotten so good and his brother looks just like him. They can do it.

All they had to do was approach it like it was done on Wakanda Forever with Chaswick Boseman.. have it where Dante found him and killed him.. then they have a celebration for him like they did for Chetalla (i spelled that wrong lol)

Brian is safe, Mia is still fighting in action scenes though.
They actually could of recasted Brian with the guy who was in the actual Point Break remake.
They could have just recast him with Matthew McConaughey or Eddie Murphy. Or his brothers without CGI.

Seeing an empty seat at the table with a plate and a Corona is depressing, especially if it's a family BBQ and Mia is there. Not only that, but everyone else is showing up when Toretto or one of the crew needs help so it would make sense if Brian and Mia show up as well. So I'm ready for them to CGI Paul Walker with help of his brothers as long as it's ink with his family.
It be perfectly fine to have Brian stay with his family if they never gave Dom a son of his own.

If they put the same effort that they do in amazing unrealistic stunts into making a solid history this probably would be the most amazing story ever told in a action movie. But it is what it is. Turning your brain off once and a while is okay.

I saw Fast X. Brian technically shows up in flashback form for all of…five seconds? If that? It's really not the "triumphant return to the franchise" that they're hyping it up to be. It's actually a huge letdown. Just let Cody Walker take over. He looks enough like Paul, and this way Brian can really have a role in the next movie. There's no disrespect to the actor. Everybody understands. But, you really can't just keep getting away with saying "Brian and the kids are safe…here's Mia's three minute cameo." in every new movie that comes out. Just bring the character back completely and advance the plot, already.

okay. at the end whenever paul and dom went their seperate ways on that road, paul went underground. completely off the grid, due to the fact he had a family and a baby on the way(furious 7). paul most likely faked his death so he could survive and not put the people he holds close in harms way. this is just me spit-ballin',
I can understand them wanting to keep Paul walker apart of this saga as much as they can so they can tribute it to his work as well as theirs. I feel like its not necessarily trying to keep him around to milk it but more of trying to allow his memory and character to live on. It effects the story but not in a huge way where its overshadowing.
After that cliffhanger in fast x dom is gonna need help from everyone in stopping Dante and aimes and no doubt cipher as well (you can’t freakin trust that bitch) and maybe Brian will play an important part of it with Paul’s brothers helping out of course, hopefully dom and his team will survive
