Authorities with the Los Angeles Police Department are asking for the public’s help in identifying the driver of a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run that claimed the life of a 23-year-old bicyclist in South Los Angeles last month.

The deadly crash occurred on April 13, at around 10:40 p.m., at the intersection of Main and 43rd streets, according to an LAPD news release.

The 23-year-old man, identified as Inmer Samuel Cruz, can be seen in surveillance video riding his bike westbound across Main Street on 43rd Street when he’s struck by a silver sedan that was going southbound on Mainstreet.

2nd the father says that he didn't have clue that was his son the victim right so that mean he is not aware that his son was crossing the street with out stopping
And 3rd. You all drive you all know been in the situation where people crossed right on front of you without taking precautions so they deser that and yes i have kids but they don't go to crossing streets in bicycle and not stopping

  5. wonder if his son understood what a Stop sign means? Basically Darwinian selection hard at work here. Those cars are moving fast and he did not stop and went right into the center of the street. The hit and run driver however should still do the humanitarian thing and stop and render aid.

  8. R.I.P the bicyclist but , he never stop at that intersection.

Never assume that vehicles will stop for you. Worse yet , don't put your well being as a responsibility to others.
