I like to PvP, and PvE. Usually wearing an Exo Suit nowadays. Unlocking it is easy with no cheats needed anymore, and usually on a server, official or unofficial, I’m not fussed. Single Player is great though, certainly with a guide for any platform be it xbox, ps4, ps5, pc, it’s great. Sometimes play MTS, and usually post patch/update. But a survival game needs some community news and that’s what I do, giving you the latest on events, small tribes, maybe even fast flyers and primitive plus, usually covering all maps from Island to Genesis Part 2. And one day. ARK 2!

  1. These Dino’s don’t need to be removed. If they locked tames to the map they were tamed on (gen2 tames having to stay on gen2) would make everything balanced. Or taking it off map reduces all stats by half and disabled all special abilities

  2. Don't forget about the purlovia popping out under your desmodus, knocking you off into a pile of bears and wolves. Or into a bottomless pit

  3. I think objections to the creatures on the list fall into just a few categories:
    1. Doesn't "fit" in Ark (dolphin, Stryder, Mek).
    2. Overpowered/unbalanced
    (Managarmr, Shadowmane, Mek, Dolphin, Stryder).
    3. Useless
    (Liopleurodon, Electrophorus, Purlovia, Insect Swarm)

Categories 2 and 3 can be SOLVED relatively easily.

    – Nerf Manas against humans
    – MASSIVELY nerf the wildly OP and unbalanced Shadowmane
    – Make the Liopleurodon have a USEFUL buff
    – Give Electrophorus useful abilities, like generating electricity when fed fish
    – Make purlovia useful, somehow
    – Icthyornis are SUPER useful for taming. HOWEVER, they take valuable stuff and destroy it. If WC just made it so they couldn't steal and destroy irreplaceable items, it would make them bearable. They could, for instance, make them DROP the item out of your inventory onto the ground, or store it in their inventory so that the item was retrievable. Or only allow certain items to be stolen. Why they made them worse than pegos is beyond me.

  4. I don't really agree with this list but I can understand the frusation people have had with these creatures. The itchy bird I think if they made it where it just took food, raw meat and kibble (not tames in cryo and none food items). It would be easier to deal with. All these creatures fit in the Ark lore in one way or another. They can be countered if you know what you are doing. The only thing I wish they would have done is kept meks on extinction for the boss fight or you had a limited time to use them after they were made. A lot of the dinos need some TLC and some balance.

  5. You all are dreaming for a joke with wild card. Half the things on this list are for PVP the entirely full on toxic side of ark to the fullest, dont like these creatures then dont play pvp simple fix.

  6. I can handle the annoying creatures…but gen II kills so much for me as a pve player who really likes dinos. Sure I avoid it in general. But god its so annoying to see all the stuff that is just broken in Ark. Ive played since early access, 2017, 2015, literally the first month it was out. Power creep is one thing but the game has what I call legacy bugs that should be fixed. And they want me to believe that somehow UE5, a new and fairly untested engine, will magically make them competent programmers? Nah. I don't.

  7. The Ichtyornis, AKA Bully Bird, is absolutely my number 1
I'm somewhat surprised its landbound soulmate, the pack rat Pegomastax, didn't even make it to the honorable mentions. Probably because you've got a decent chance of recovering your things from them and they can be run down even while on foot.
