What about a House of Commons layout/ floor plan in a nice half circle facing the Speaker, instead of 2 opposite packs of hounds gnashing at each others' throats.
My view is that when doesn't have a vision beyond a certain period of time and when doesn't plan accordingly, there will be a huge price to pay and I don't mean pounds but life. Alas.
Contrast with India, there is a clamour for not building a new parliament dubbing it a waste, but they don't notice the need for safety, security and growing realities of an emerging super power.
