Matthew Tkachuk played the hero in the dying seconds of the fourth overtime period as the Florida Panthers outlasted the Carolina Hurricanes 3-2 in the sixth-longest game in Stanley Cup Playoff history to take a 1-0 series lead.

Carolina pretty much has to play mistake free hockey to beat the panthers, also i would have played Raanta that second goal on Anderson wasn't great.
Great game can't wait for game 2! One thing that I noticed is that the editor of this video transitioned with a "shootout" instead of overtime. It's playoffs babyyyyy get it right
5:03 SHOOTOUT in PLAYOFF LMAO
Thank you for this recap because i don't remember any of it … too much bourbon and too much excitement erased those moments from my mind … I was in the moment … I love my Cats! On to the Cup!
Great game. I have to say. As someone that is not a major fan of either of these two teams. The Panthers are playing the game so well. Their forecheck is just how coaches draw it up. F1 Attacks F2 supports all the strong side and they stay so structured. Yes the Canes got shots but that forecheck will just wear a team down and frustrate them. I am interested to see if the Canes will try to attack the weak side to get away from their forecheck and have less time being pinned in their own zone. However, hats off to the panthers. They are playing amazing fundamental hockey. I am sure the canes will adjust and this will be a good series, but I'm saying it here and now. Barring any major injuries. The Panthers will win the Cup if they continue to play this way
пантеры красавцы. нервяк, конечно, знатный, когда отменили гол. там, мне кажется, вообще не однозначно.. но справедливость все-таки восторжествовала.
Mr. Anderson vs Bob Ross sky
Not to be negative, but seeing these guys play club team semifinals whilst there's a World Championship going on… is sad. It's the only sport I follow that has a league that absolutely disregards a World Cup / Olympics and still plays their semis and quarter finals whilst a major, international tournament is going on… To be honest, from my perspective it is embarrassing.
Im getting a tkachuk jersey what a player!!
Well they won the game twice. That call was garbage.
Jeez!! This game was INTENSE!
Im so happy for Paul Maurice , he finnally got a real chance
WOW THE GOALIES DID GOOD BUT ANDERSON HAD HIS WORK CUT OUT FOR HIM IN THE SHOOT OUT
it didn't have to go that long, the called off goal in the 1st OT was horrendous. Anderson was already moving to the right and put himself out of position, the contact didn't prevent him saving the goal. All those old men in the situation room must going blind, I'll donate some $ so they can go see an eye doctor.
Needless to say…florida has a playoff team…
Shootout? Wow lazy editing…
Way to go, Panthers! Bobrovsky is playing like I hope Vasilevkskiy plays next season!
Slavin and Burns now know that the best way to end a game in sudden death overtime is to cough up the puck in your own end
This game ended at 1:54 am eastern
Потрясающая игра Бобровского💪👍😎🔥💣
the league is so desperate to save Carolina at home they made an awful interface call in OT on the first game winner. Totally over cooked both these team for an extra 80 minutes of hockey in one night. And the right team still won. Stop meddling with these games!!!
