Fire Brigade Employees’ Union Leighton Drury says his fire crews have the ages of their old trucks written in chalk on the sides to raise awareness for the Fire NSW ageing fleet.
“What we’ve got now is trucks that are breaking down,” Mr Drury told Sky News host Sharri Markson.
“If they break down, we won’t be there.”
