I remember the first time I fought Seregios:

I love the Seregios/Azure Rathalos cutscene, showing how Seregios is a rival to even the King of the Skies, but that the king is by no means beaten and in fact can easily hold its own. And since Azure Rathalos is fairly comparable to normal Rathalos for the most part, it shows that Rathalos in general isn't to be underestimated.

I played 4u around 2016, hit 999, the whole 9 yards. The story content by far is the best, and the cut scenes made it even better. Thanks for making this series, I've really enjoyed basking in the nostalgia.

The intro to Steve is always something in MH4U. Not only being a hazard to what was just a simple quest, but then slowly fighting several Seregios questioning why exactly they appeared so frequently. Depending on who you ask Steve's Armor is highly recommended in High/G-ranks, not only that but his weapons are unique. Having no elements, however whenever you roll, the weapons sharpness will slowly regain back its sharpness. Giving you a slight purpose to remove whetstones from your inventory so long as you only use Steve's weapon.
Guildmarm’s quest description and then going “Um, hyperbolic much?” Is the funniest thing I’ve had the pleasure to read. And I agree I think Seregios having the ability to through shit at you should’ve been explored, still, he’s a fantastic fight in my eyes, just so oppressively jittering around you, like how Brachydios pivots around you.

Fun fact about bleed, you can move while crouching and it still cures it. All you need to do is crouch, you don't actually need to stay still.

That aside (wanted to play around the start), Steve really did kick that Rathian out. Unlike Steve in Sunbreak.
But Cotton, the Rathian DID just leave before. She went to her nest, she couldn’t know that the hunters still considered this area to be a part of the hunting area or that she was marked so that she could be easily found.
Does Cotton see the world in like 5 fps?

27:21 back when i was in late Primary and early Middle school, i saw pictures of the Dromes – Velocidrome, particularly – and Tigrex.
Monster Hunter's "dinosaurs" are the reason the franchise caught my attention; but come early Middle school, my love for dragons was growing. i saw the cover of 3 Ultimate, and saw Azure Rathalos.
Velocidrome and Tigrex may have caught my attention; but Azure Rathalos is the monster that convinced me to play 4 Ultimate. in other words, i wouldn't be here if not for him.
had i seen Brachydios on the 3U cover, i most likely wouldn't have joined the MonHun community at all (i don't want to hear ANYTHING – not a single word – from your mouth, Josh).
do i like Azure Rathalos? he annoyed me the first time i hunted him, i'll admit; but he's one of my favourite subspecies and one of my favourite monsters overall. hell, i like his Iceborne fight a lot! (mostly because i got gud)
i owe Azure Rathalos a lot.

Funny thing is, by the time I did the Rathian quest my buddy and I had been farming the high rank Seregios event quest. They were telling me I wasn't ready for Seregios while I was literally wearing its armor and using it's weapon. lol

Thia fights look painfully awful and……. clunky, slow, and kinda boring, one of my frienss does not SHUT UP about how hard and how insane and SUPER hard were the old games, and I was expecting something more……. excruciating and less boring

I absolutely hate this quest, it forces you to "fail" by abandoning it, like the paintball is still active, I can avoid the Seregios, don't force a "Quest Failed" when it's technically abandoning, it's so annoying
