In today’s video we look at weapon customisation in EFT. Using the modding menu, we can create the exact builds that we want much more easily, but there are some tricks and key concepts to know at the beginner and intermediate level.
There is a lot of potential ground to cover, so in this guide we’ll be explaining the weapon stats and how they influence our decisions to build weapons in certain ways, the general philosophy behind creating efficient builds and some optimal attachments to be aware of that are useful across many different weapons.
The various Assault Rifles in the game (primarily with the AK and M4) typically offer the highest level of customisation, so generally modding focuses on these but there are other weapons that we will touch on too, such as the SVD.

Eh I keep killing people with full meta AKs and using them and I just can't make them work… they always just jump all over the place. All AKs are straight to vendor this patch for me. RFB all the way, no modding required.

This is a great resource! However, BSG really need to rework a few of these annoyances to make things more clear cut.
I think I might have vendored one or two of those 4% recoil foregrips. Whoops!
if u want to save money, u can always use 2nd best parts. people will kill for that best in slot mod but no one will care for the 2nd best that are so much cheaper

For 5.56mm, why not recommend trying out the ak-101 and ak-102 this wipe? It's a sleeper weapon right now considering m4s are harder to control. The reduced firerate makes it feel like shooting 5.45 AKs just with 5.56 ammo which is objectively better currently in mid-wipe. Only drawback I can think of is only 30 round mags.
Edit: It's relatively accessible under mechanic lv2/3 with crafted m856a1 ( or m855a1 from skier lv4 ) is much better than using BTs with lesser flesh damage and fragmentation chance too 🙂

As this is my first wipe, I found guide is very helpful for me. I will no longer be braindead in modding my weapons.
Mr.Beef do you have any videos on just being able to see people better? In a raid this morning and went to check it out. Thought I had good cover. Couldn't see anyone and started getting smoked. This is my first wipe so maybe it's just not knowing likely player positions yet?
