The Character Swap Mod for the Sonic P06 Silver Release is finally here! Made by Sameal of the Morning Sun, this mod not only allows character swapping wherever you want, but also adds some new moves and old school cheats to Sonic, Shadow, and Silver! In this video I will be outlining what you can do with this mod, and playing through some stages using it. Enjoy!

I love the character swap mod so much. It's pretty useful to play as other characters in the stage mods

Take my word for it but i was the one who gave Samuel the ideas in a past video he made. I think it was version 2 of P-06 that he made this mod for.
But I gave him the idea to try and add the gem powers whilst super sonic. So ye

The fact that most characters can get through levels never meant for them with minimal effort just goes to show how amazing 06's level design was.
I hope for the next p-06 update, chaos X adds in-game achievements like sonic 3 A.I.R
This mod made me realize how much they optimized Amy. I remember someone modding the original Sonic 06 game to make any overpowered, and they gave him infinite double jumps since she couldn't interact with the giant liquid balls in Aquatic Base. However, when I was doing my Amy run-through with this mod, I found that she could not only interact with the ball but grab eagles too. It goes to show how much effort is put into this
Downloaded P06 to try this today, but for some reason even without the mod my game gets stuck when choosing an icon on the File Select screen. Anyone else have this problem? idk where else to even ask lol

If there don't happen to be any cut stages for Knuckles, Omega and Amy that can be restored, I guess this mod could be a viable substitute.
If anyone downloaded this on release, be aware the creator updated the mod so that you can use Shadow and Silver’s S Rank abilities.
