  1. "Pixar does Dark Souls" is literally Kena: Bridge of Spirits, which by the standards of this ranking can be also considered a souls-like. Specially due to it's tight and well balanced combat. 100% recommended!

  2. There's some games that are basically directly inspire by Dark Souls, like Remnant & Code Vein, but instead of including those, you weirdly include Hollow Knight and Cuphead. Maybe if you squint you can call Hollow Knight Soulslike. But Cuphead is not even fucking remotely close.

  3. this list is a joke… no remnant from the Ashes, no Code Vein, no final fantasy: Stranger of Paradise, no thymesia, no Steelrising, even Hellpoint would be a way better inclusion then all those Metrovenia games

  4. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
    Remnant: From the Ashes
    Code Vein
Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin
    Steelrising
    Mortal Shell
    Vampyr
    Surge 2
    Darksiders III
    NiOh

It is a travesty, that you would include Ashen and Immortal: Unchained (few of the worst soulslikes) and not include Remnant: From the Ashes and Code Vein (few of the best soulslikes). Not to mention; Cuphead, Blasphemous and Hollow Knight are not really a soulslikes.

  5. Good list,i love these games. But…If you want a very good "Dark Souls with guns" game,"Remnant from the ashes" is what you looking for. Best game of 2019 for me,and much much more better than Immortals…And Code Vein very good too.

  6. Kena: Bridge of Spirits would've probably have been a good addition to this list as well. It looks cutesy but there's definitely some difficulty to mastering the combat mechanics.

  7. If someone would ask me what the worst souls like games are, I'd say Immortal Unchained and Mortal Shell. How tf did they end up on this list? Immortal Unchained is boring as hell, there's nothing to see, nothing to explore and the bosses are more annoying than anything. And Mortal Shell is just a MASSIVE pain in the ass, because there are stupid traps around quite literally every corner in the game. And having traps just for the sake of having them is horrible game design. Even Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty in its current state is better than those two games.

Also, if you do a list about the "BEST" soulslike games, you gotta include Code Vein. It may not the THE best soulslike, but it's up there for sure.

  8. ender lilies is absolutely fantastic, one of my favorite games ever.. steel rising was brilliant and thymesia was also a great game but i was disappointed by its length. it was over too quickly and left me wanting more.

  9. I’ve tried and played all of these games. Hollow knight, Dead cells and the other side scroller are not souls like games I hate it when people compare apples and oranges… the other that borrow souls formula fail to capture the magic… that fromsoftware creates… Nioh and Nioh 2 are cool but now where near the level of dark souls. Dark souls isn’t about difficulty or about stats or any of that Fromsoftware creates worlds full of wonder they are games that want you to explore see and be amazed by the creativity of these talented people over there. Only fromsoftware can design levels like fromsoftware…
