Service was temporarily disrupted on a Mexico City subway line on May 14, after a chicken got loose on the tracks, the city’s metro operator said.
Footage shows transport personnel and civil defense volunteers chasing the chicken at Centro Medico station. Rescuers are seen making several attempts to catch the animal before it’s wrapped in a piece of clothing.
Power was out at the station while the rescue efforts were underway, but service resumed “immediately” after the chicken was safe, the operator said.
