Any chance for some wartales?
If possible, try good guy necromancer. My favourite AoW3 build for roleplay.
Mana Addicts is very good trait. Quick Reflexes is also very good. I usualy pair it with Tenacious, there is nice synergi with one racial transformation.
I love this game so much, last night I was literally theorycrafting builds in my sleep.
– What's your name, sir?
– Dra'Keshu.
– My-my! So, what kind of issue is that?

There is indeed a way to make your race immune to fire damage. It's called 'Scions of Flame' and is unlocked by the tier 4 Chaos tome 'Tome of Pandemonium'.
However, there is a slight downside to this:
The other tier 4 Chaos tome is the 'Tome of The Demon Gate', which unlocks the 'Demonkin' racial transformation. This makes your whole race fiend-type units and also makes them fly. Now, you can combine these, but it wastes time since after doing either one, you can unlock the 'Tome of the Demon/Chaos Lord', which is quite powerful as a tier 5 tome.
The choice is up to you.
Yea, I never understood why there was a specific setting for setting pantheon characters as rulers as there's always the chance they'll show up (might need to allow custom rulers if they are one).
I love how you looked at the shields you got and didnt give them to your tank 🤦🏾♂️ good ep other wise
Remember that you can choose to do different race transformation on your wizard king then your race
What do they need brighter sign for you to annex jesus open your eyes
Excited for this playthrough! My first (and possibly favourite) campaign was a neutral/evil Barbarian run which ended up focusing Astral/Materium and some Chaos, and it was a blast stacking all the crazy damage enchantments you can get with that combo. My units felt unstoppable!
That tree of the fey looks bloody amazing. Its just faries you can recruit?, not Ents?, I think they call thm horned gods.
For self healing, lightning evocation upgrade on a group of enemies as your leader/heroes can pretty much full heal you if you have lifesteal from mana addict up. If you don't know barbarian scouts can settle outposts as well.
I got about twenty minutes into this video and the start of your other playthrough before caving and buying this. I did in fact use your link. :3 Love how they made things so much more readable. Adored Planetfall but couldn't tell what was going on for anything.
As much as I like this game, I still find it really weird whenever I see winged creatures riding on the back of other (winged) creatures. Or say Demonkin riding horses or whatever.
Also, Skald's don't naturally have a healing spell iirc. Mine do because I frequently make use of Order tier 1 healing.
Also, am I the only one who finds it annoying that Demonkin is not the same as Fiend? It seems silly to not be able to Demonkin (or do any of the Major transformation traits) on units that you gain from tomes. Skalds not having wings eventually is imo daft.
People don't realize how powerful shadow walkers are. I suggest giving it a try on mystic cultures as scouts can get very powerful!
Psychers are crazy. Needs more Orks. WAAAAGH
I think a trait of Barbarians is that you can settle an outpost with a scout. A hero does not have to be present. Teleporters can be built at outposts which could give you fast travel for your armies to new frontiers or attack fronts.
Edit: please consider getting magma spirits/elementals early. They will evolve with enough xp and you took the leaders ability that gives free xp every turn.
Great first episode, can’t wait for more of this series.
I dont play Age of Wonders series before but i'm fall in love in this one! Lots and lots combinations. Enjoyed to watch Indrid to! Keep it up :3
I wonder if that frog is going to rebuild that city you razed…i would have rebuilt it, plus some of your lands only can get farms, so that swamp isn't any different (imo)…. I'll be looking forward to the next episode to see how things play out…sooo excited
Arcane focus seem a bit odd for barbarian elves, as barbarians have no battelmages, but I guess you can easily pick up battelmages from tomes.
Regarding the race traits that give special mounts; they all change one culture unit into a cavalry unit.
