I am against Jabba, JML, and Executor in Bronzium 4. He is 1-1 after the first two rounds. I dont know if a new player could get out of Carbonite for at least 3 years if they dont whale.

It should’ve been Revan and Malak crewing the Leviathan, as well as dropping the relic requirements to 5-7 max.
The whole “win more grand arena” argument is a very dumb argument. You are going to eventually trend towards 50/50 win rate regardless. The rewards benefits of going for jabba massively outweigh going for Leviathan. Unless you can’t beat leviathan is unbeatable by exec/prof that could change the argument but I don’t see how anyone could recommend anything besides jabba right now.
The problem really is, is that they have a vast majority of end game content and basically no new game content. Hasn't changed much in the 5 years that I started play. It's faster to gear up characters then when I truly started my account.
Cg needs to take a bit and create some content for new game players to 1. Come in not be overwhelmed / burnt out amd 2 content that is all around enjoyable. No one wants to start a game where after signing in and checking out arenas and requirements where it would take 3 years just to catch up and to be viable with 6 GLs. Not to mention the time frame of just starting and getting to rise of the empire.
Grinding is not fun.
In order to truly have fun, you most likely had to have played everyday since day 1 of launch to be able to enjoy all content on the game..
Starting now is like walking up to a giant with nothing to fight it with except a stick.
Game needs something refreshing for new game players. Characters are not the answer to that nor a fleet which will successfully hold top of arena. Just takes one whale in a shard to ruin it for everyone.
How many new players or early players are going to have the means to get r9 mats for what likely will be a requirement for at least 1 toon. Similar to profundity. Especially with the raid changes your guild will have to collectively do well in the raid and the raid is gated around specific factions. Where as cpit you could throw any squad at it
I’m just not a fan of ships, I play the game for the characters. I also don’t concern myself with PvP, because I find it to be utterly boring.
As a completely F2P player, I have legit given up trying to keep up with "Meta" and just focus on what I want to farm. I'm not in a guild, because they all seem to be focusing on being the best at whatever (And good on them, just not my style), and I just poke around the game and try to farm what I want. I hover around 200 in Arena, 20 in ships, and that's cool by me. I have doubts I'll ever unlock Malgus, let alone the Leviathan.
I think you have to work on both Leviathan and Jabba at the same time. I just finished relic'ing Inquisitors in preparation for the GI event, currently working on unlocking DR and then Malak, while farming Jabba reqs in the background (just the three marquees left to finish farm, with some of the relics finished already from other journeys).
However, if you're not in a position to get Malgus and Fury Interceptor in a timely fashion (I'm planning for 6 months rather than 3) then you gotta go all in on Jabba.
Kam is the hardest character I’m getting more 3rd sister shards than with kam

First off: My guild is hard-farming Inquisitors for those Reva shards. It's taking precedent over Leviathan or Jabba, due to the need for all guild members to work together so we can try and speed-run the Reva unlock as a guild.
Second off: I would argue that it's better to wait on the Leviathan "farm" for now, since we don't actually know the requirements for it, aside from Malgus' Interceptor, and you can only get that right now from Conquest anyway. We KNOW the requirements for Jabba, how and what to farm, and going for Jabba is something that can monumentally help not only yourself, but your guild as well.
Far as I'm concerned, the F2P focus should be thus: Inquisitors>Jabba>Interceptor (You literally need it for Leviathan)>Leviathan. Depending on your guild, Inquisitors and Jabba can switch positions due to focus/degree of importance placed on them.
I really wanna get malgus, i really wanna get fury interceptor. But having no GLs is a no go for proving grounds.
I saw him still verry rarely now show up in the conquest store.
So my best bet is to now save up all my crystals and when the malgus pack comes in the store to whale on that. Im nowhere near a GL even with my 4,2mil GP.
As a big fan of swtor, malgus is something i will go before any GL.
I'm at 6.5m with Malgas unlocked, 105/330 on the fury, 7* B28 and Sith Fighter almost 7*. I'm also farming Jabba reqs but Leviathan is the priority, until crystals are removed from Fleet Arena having the meta fleet should always be top priority.

Here's the thing about ships for ftp. It takes a shit ton of crystals to get to 7 star…. which is when counters struggle. I've been blowing profundity and executor up for awhile with off counters

As a FTP, figuring out how to ace GAC and sniping above rank 50 in fleets.
Since CG took the element of aero’s out of crancor, CG made their money on the panic prep for crancor… now everyone has no excuse for not getting relic 8/9 cause the glacial pace is now in shipments to some degree. I only wanted SE fleets cause they’re a badass faction. Watch Mace and Some random ships kick their ass so there is a counter 😂
Free guilds are not going to survive this phase. Because AP 100% right about Reva and Jabba farming by your guild. All or nothing 😂
Its crazy how ap overrates ships, they are not nearly that important. The further into end game you get the more improtant they are, but in mid game GA most people dont even get to ships
Thanks for the info and entertaining content. I started about a year and a half ago but for the first 6-9 months I made the mistake of advancing all my characters evenly, now I am close to SL Kylo Ren
Jabba is great, but say you are F2P player. You start farming him now, getting him unlocked with ult in.. what, 4-5 months? By then there might be new raid where you won't be able to use Hutt Cartel and you are stuck with good GL, sure, but useless for farming R8.
Fleet is the most important, getting nr 1 in Fleet Arena gives you 400 chrystals A DAY! So for F2P it's fleets, always.. You can't get 12k chrystals a month in GAC, no matter what level you play..
I’ve been slowly farming inquisitors now that I have most base teams farmed and plan to have or be near grand inquisitor by end of the year. A side effect I think may add to them is they may let be get into an even better guild than I normally would be
i disagree on the take about reva. in tw, my 330M guild went up against a guild that had merc’d in somebody who had reva. they put her in the c3 zone and that was their trap, which we didn’t know. we had to completely reroute our attack and take the gl wall instead. it was a true nail biter and my guild had nothing that could beat reva that we were aware of at the time. what truly sealed the deal was we shredded an omi phasma wall in less than 10 min. the zones were 38 so we killed it. one singular reva with gi TW omis completely messed us up and we almost lost bc of it.
Fleets will always be most important unless they ever get rid of crystals from it.
Ahnald plays JKR totally wrong in the raid, lol.
I use a 4 man squad at the g12 level with jkr being the only relic character and get 450k.
He focuses way too much on the bombs. They should only be focused on when krayt is underground
