  1. Ok if you want to actually "Delete Game Saves from Steam Cloud" follow my steps.
Step 1: Open your game with steam cloud enabled
Step 2: While the game is open, delete all but one local saves.
Step 3: Edit the final save with a text error (with the game still open, just type "ribjfrijhb" or something) and save.
Step 4: Close your game and steam will sync the new empty folder and a corrupted save.

You can repeat step 1 and 2 and just delete the final save with the game open and steam will sync the empty folder deleting all saves stored on the cloud, but some games can be very tricky to deal with and require you to create at least one newer save than the ones stored on the cloud for it to update the cloud rather than download the cloud into your save folder.

  2. How do I find my save files if they aren't where they are supposed to be? I need to delete my save files and then verify integrity of The Isle (EVRIMA) so 'X' will activate my night vision, but it doesn't appear that the save files are in the right folder. I've already verified game integrity, and uninstalled and reinstalled. :/

    Completely useless.
There is no 'Save Game' file of any kind!
If games are saved to the Steam Cloud, they're not going to be saved to your hard drive!
Surely there is an option in Steam to delete all saved game files from their Cloud?!

  4. What worked for me when I got a corrupted savegame in the cloud in Shadow of War, that (after 1st copying them to desktop to backup them) I deleted all savegames from PC manually (from 2 folders) and then let the Steam sync to online, and it downloads the latest save file from cloud, and then 1 savegame appears in the game folder, then I copy 1 old save to same folder and rename the old save with the name of the one downloaded from the cloud, and delete the one downloaded from cloud. Game progress took a few hours backslash, but at least it starts.

Very good video and peaceful voice you have. Many other channel's help-videos are extremely annoying in every aspect.

  5. Guy's, this didn't work for me, but I was able to figure it out. I specifically had problems with the Witcher 2.

    1. Launch Steam, make sure it downloads all of the Cloud saves to the respective AppID game folder.

    2. Put Steam into "Offline Mode".

    3. Go back to the AppID game folder and remove all the save files, or deleting everything BUT the saves you want to keep.

    4. Launch the game.

    5. Close the game.

    6. Put Steam back into "Online Mode".

    7. Navigate back to the game's library page, and you should see a file conflict status.

    8. Click the conflict status, and pick the local files to override what is in the Cloud.

    Should be good to go!

  6. OK, if you can't find the save files the way he talks about in the video, they might be saved under Documents. This pc> Documents > koei tecmo > ninja gaiden sigma > bunch of numbers file > savepoint.

  9. FYI to those of you playing a modded game.

Do NOT verify the integrity of your files without taking into consideration whether or not your game's version is the most up to date one or not. By verifying the integrity of your files, you might update the game unintentionally and cause all your mods to break.
