Getting back to the Temple of Time after doing the 3rd shrine is RETARDED. I've died like 15 times trying different ways to climb down from the mountain.

I think you should go into more detail about getting each of the first three shrines. I keep getting stuck and can’t figure out how to travel between sky islands.
I fused a ruby to a weapon and equipped it to get thru the cold. That's the easiest way to deal with the cold.
I have no food and very little cold protection so is still take damage from the temperature. I’ve tried for nearly 2 hours and I can’t beat calogera. Any way to beat it really quick to beat the cold or skip it entirely??

What do those boxes you were moving around at time stamp 6:46–6:50 ? I just got the game yesterday and all I can get them to do is float. Do they contain anything or are they just stepping stones basically?

This part was so frustrating I gave up after an hour.
Can you explain the utility/mechanics of the up button on the d pad?(I understand right button for weapons, left button for shields) can I use it to quickly eat food? Is it strictly for getting items out to fuse to your weapon? Am I missing something as far as usefulness?
