Laysara Summit Kingdom is quite literally peak city-building β in todayβs gameplay video weβre going to take a look at this fresh take on the familiar city-builder genre where youβre in charge of building a city on a mountain. Laysara Summit Kingdom first came to my attention a couple years ago and Iβve been following it ever since due to the unique concept, unique mechanics, and unique limitations that the setting presents. Based on our exploration today, it looks like the gameplay systems hold up to the initial promise of Laysara Summit Kingdom, and I canβt wait to play more!

India hoi4 next? (Day 1)
That's peak game play.
Tibetan culture is so rarely represented in games! Such an amazing setting.
Thank you for bringing this game to my attention ! It seems to have gone under my radar for a full year.
This game has been on my wishlist since you last mentioned it on your channel.
So looking forward to this.
Anno, but pointier and without Ubisoft? Sounds like all kinds of wins!
Peak city builder. I see what you did there.
Look boring af π 0 narrative
Looks neat,
The music sound good as well.
I enjoy you talking through your enthusiasm while mountain village building π
Forty minutes ago I knew nothing about this game. Now I can't wait for it to be released!
Thanks for showing the demo, whishlisted.
Gotta work around the terrain! IN GRIDS! Pass….
Thanks a lot for trying out our demo!
And let me just say, you explained the citizens' needs and satisfaction mechanics better than any of us can π
damn party, are you a libra? sometimes you are so indecisive lol
Amazing game and very unique, love to se a developer that add new challenges to the genre and looks totally fun, maaaaybe add a playlist when is release if you have time.
Exotic verticality and avalanches
hope it is enough for this game to get noticed among the dozens of other city builders
Ooo what's that on the tippy top.
Will have to wishlist this. Reminds me of Anno in some ways.
Now there are asian city builders. Great, just what we need.
Looking pretty cool!
It's a shame that they went with a grid though. More modern, freeform placement would fit the limited mountain space so much better. Grids are for flat areas.
Make a series of video…. Of this Game
It looks like there is quite a lot of micromanagement: having to set up every single transport route, building by building, with the correct amount of goods and without any UI shortcut to do that, then updating it each time you construct a new building which modifies the demands…
Could be painful once scaled to a large endgame city.
"If you are not willing to risk the usual you will have to settle for the ordinary." *Jim Rohn
This game is very similar to Anno 1800. The system to upgrade the population is about the same in Anno. Looks great.
This looks awesome! Wish you could rotate the buildings tho.
Beautiful… but it's a damn shame it's still stuck to a grid like the genre hasn't grown at all since Caesar.
Such a cool game! I will definitely get this when it comes out.
I def wanna see more!!
Caesar and Pharoah had similar mechanics in game. Dwellings would automatically upgrade if they had access to the enough things and would also devolve if you had issues with labor which meant supplies dwindled. Had a little play through, I would be interested to see a review when it is released.
That unique upgrade system was for example in Caesar 4 and i think older games from that series. Nothing sepcial.
