Some of these really make you think how despite their young age, TK and Kari had some of the biggest guts. Especially Kari.
Two of my favorites are Magnamon vs Kimeramon and Magnamon & Rapidmon vs Cherubimon
This list was great but the fight with Milenniumon should've been much closer to the top 5, that shit was EPIC.

You sure that the OG wargreymon vs mugendramon is better than the 2020 version?
While I would rearrange some of the rankings considering a chunk of them should be fairly higher, I’d say it’s a solid list; favorite digital showdown for me personally is #18 mainly because of not just Regulusmon being a very powerful yet terrifying opponent but also the battle animation/choreography throughout the fight gave me goosebumps, all of the other battles on the list are just as great also, always great to see the Digimon franchise getting more love!!!

I’m not the biggest season 3 fan, but I believe they had more than one good fight
Please use original JP terminology when referring Digimon Season 6. Bandai and Toei have long discarded the Saban names for that season, since the dub failed, and are using the names for the TCG and future media.
The English Dub Digimon Fusion Season 3 and Digimon App monsters and Digimon Reboot and Digimon Ghost Game will be on Discovery Family

Original digidestined vs Dark Masters in TRI is so underrated, the music is so dramatic
Omnimon vs abbadomon
Gallantman vs beelzemon was definitely one of my fav of all time. Guilmon was my favorite partner digimon, agumon being a close second. Veemon being third. But beelzemon story arc and redemption arc was like no other. He could feel his remorse for all his done. Very powerful for a kids show. Even takado feeling when beelzemon destroyed leomon, nothing matched this intensity in all the series I felt. Season 3 was built different. I enjoyed it all the way to season 4 then I fell out. But I did enjoy the humans becoming digimon which I imagined they did due to the popularity of the mega evolution from season 3. But all in all definitely should be on everyone top5 fight for digimon series
As a fan of Digimon since the beginning, I couldn't resist watching Kizuna as the series finale to season 1. I just didn't expect it to tug at my heart so much. Knowing that all Digidestined lose their partners when they reach adulthood and lose their child potential, it really breaks your heart. I cried through that movie. It teaches a hard lesson, but a necessary one. It still hurt. What I don't understand is that at the end of Adventure 2, they had their Digimon partners even as adults. So, that concerns me for the Adventure 2 movie. Either they forgot that ending, or they have a big surprise for us. I just hope they don't make the movie so heartbreaking
Personally I think Matt and his overprotectiveness was what was holding TK and Patamon back from shining sooner in the first season.
Okay no. No No No. I agree Gallantmon & Beelzemon (even if it’s the only Tamers entry here) should be on this list, but it should take the WarGreymon & Machinedramon spot. Number one should be the all star brawl with the leaders of the first 5 seasons joining the fight towards the 7th season’s finale. WE STILL HAVEN’T GOTTEN TO SEE THAT DUBBED!
Do you recommend I watch the 2020 version? I have only watched the first 3 seasons when I was a kid. The first one is still my favorite.
