What do you guys believe is the secret to a long-lasting and fulfilling life? We were discussing as a team and the word that kept coming up was community.
Being around people that support us deeply and participating together in something bigger than ourselves, in our opinion, are two big components behind this secret.
That's one of the reasons we're so proud of you, our community – the Yes Fam.
For over 5 years you've been interacting, meeting up, being there for each other and creating one of the most positive environments we know exists on the internet (and out of it!).
Sometimes making friends seems so hard, but maybe it's just a matter of where you're looking for them.
If you want to be in touch with the most incredible people we know and find a community for yourself, we highly encourage you to get to know the Yes Fam! You can sign up here: https://yestheorycommunity.substack.com/
When you do, we'll send you an email about how to join, what groups & platforms exist, what local groups possibly exist in the area you live in, etc and before you know it you'll be in a challenge or a meetup with everyone 🙂
We love telling these stories on YouTube and inspiring you to put yourself out there, but what we love the most is seeing you meet people that are going to support you in your journey of living the Yes Theory in your own life and Seeking DIscomfort.
Hope to see you guys there 🙂
Many people in America try to replace "keep moving" with going to the gym, but it's not the same. Your body is literally created for a full range of motion, and it stays healthy if you're giving it that. You have to go outside. You have to do activities. You have to breath the air, and eat the food. The 50 crunches you do on a yoga mat isn't extending your life.
I know why they lived longer… They keep working and making jokes. They said laughter is one of the receipe for longeivity
Small community Socialistic approach Less economic gap Hard working ppl Opennes and inclusiveness at heart
No seed oils
Love the labour. 💚
Before seeing the video, what we forgot: Nature instead of a big city, a job that people like with enough money, instead of living pay check to pay check and work for a shitty boss.
The ikigai part made me so emotional, enjoy the little things in life, they make a big difference! ❤
The United States is hardly democratic. It is an Oligarchy. People die in America and have a terrible quality of life because they are desperately trying to stay alive paycheck to paycheck with no government help, except for the EBT program. Women become homeless when they give birth a LOT. It's common. We actually don't have a welfare system. Our homeless population is incredible.. maybe you should go interview homeless American people? Americans can't afford their rent. Women die during childbirth and have to return to work the day after they give birth and child care isn't paid for. We live in a horrific country that doesn't care about its people. We die young, and we commit su1c1de at a high rate, or get addicted to drugs because creditors won't leave us alone. And once you have a bad credit score you might as well not be a human. Other countries are WAY BETTER.
I bet the blue zones have something to do with the sun.
No Eric tho, I miss him 🙁
Who wants to live long in this cruel world…. Duh not me😂😂😂
Hmm, homogeneity, no forced "diversity", no tiny group of people holding most of the resources and power, using it to manipulate and influence everyone else to serve their interests. No "greatest ally". No goyslop. No globohomo agendas..
Thomas's face when the man started clapping 😂😂😂
Lmao beautiful people of Japan
How many people that identify as trans do you think there are in this community?
Nobody lives forever change your title (never die) really 😒
Beautiful beautiful beautiful
God bless
Another wonderful video of you guys. You're thruly amazing!
I wanted that wine guy to say antidote 5000 dollars 🤣
I’ve really enjoyed these videos on the blue zones – super interesting. I think when you’ve done all the reading and thinking about the blue zones, the thing they all have is the ‘good life’. Lots to learn from them
Love Okinawa …. still prefer Tokyo but I also stayed 3 month on Okinawa on my working holiday 2018 staying with yogi !! yes the exact same one from your video Oo incredible.
Not sure if you mention it at some point as I am not done watching yet but for everyone interested, Yogi is an official guide which everyone can book also he owns a small Guesthouse not sure on which platforms he offers it but I think there are 4 flats he rents out far north near Okuma Beach. I helped a little bit with carrying some inventory and coloring some beds and such. Its a little bit remote but very good place to stay for 1-2 nights if you wanna see the Northern part of Okinawa and visiting Hiji falls and other places in the area
His place is called Okuma Beach Guest House … links are sadly always automatically removed -.-V
Another thing, Awamori is really nice and kinda mild even with higher percentage of alcohol 🙂
The snake inside is called Habu and it can kill a human rather fast, have seen 3 of them in the wilds already while many locals told me they never saw one in their whole life….
Hello, Humans
The world is full of trash. Humans are among trash, but sometimes in life, you learn to accept a painful reality.
TERRANCE OUT
not so secret anymore
This video made me laugh, smile and cry (out of joy). So inspirational! Thank you for this, wish the video didn't end! 💜
One of the best thing that I do whenever I feel unmotivated is watching your videos and it has been my outlet to feel motivated again and restarting my journey after life's hiatus. Thank you for always bringing us to your journey and for us to experience the things that life has to offer to us. ❤
11:05 the alcohol with snake aged for decades is actually very valuable and sacred stuff in many parts of Asia. I know in Chinese history people loved using snakes, scorpions and other wild stuff and only serve it to very special guests
A wonderful video It's my favourite one yet ❤ full of life lessons 🥰 this is what we mean by a good content ✨ Well done yes Theory 👏👏👏
Imagine every community living their lives based on having a social structure based around having a ‘moai’ …communities would be so much more caring anc practically able to help their most vulnerable and needy, and life wouldn’t be ego-centric and people with need wouldn’t fall through the cracks. It seems so idealist and yet here is a community doing it in real time. The woman who owned the cafe …such wise and inspiring words. 🐑🐑🇳🇿🇳🇿NZ
Please share this video. This is very important video. As always great work on presentation. Love you guys. You are my inspiration.❤
Beaut ❤
