I was wondering if we will get to play as Ashley in this remake and we do for like 10 mins. Mostly running in the dark and hiding with a blue lamp. Still mixes the gameplay and change of pace. What do you guys think of it? I did die her once to the knights because it is insta kill if they hit you lol. Enjoy!

I have admit they made Ashley amazing, especially in that scene alone, way better than the original
I like the remake this Ashley is great but for the creepyness the original was more creepier to me remember u had to do the puzzle and evade like 6 knights

oh that part with the armors you have to light to freeze, it remind both Silent Hill, when the nurses have to be lighten to freeze, and also little nightmare 2 when you have to light the puppet to make em freeze ๐

Wow look, a strong, independent female and people donโt hate her. Itโs almost like when itโs done properly people will like it. Sheโs literally terrified and still goes through this shit to save Leon.
I found out the hard way on my second go around in this game that you can break it. Since I knew I needed the lantern downstairs, I went right for it and put the lantern in its place and got the insignia, ran back upstairs past the knights and realized I didn't have the keys which I also needed the lantern to get. You can accidentally (or on purpose for whatever reason) get permanently stuck if you do that.

Whoever voiced Ashley needs to be cast in horror movies. She nailed the performance. I also want her to win an award for best VA this year
Ashley on the remake is much better than original. Hope Capcom made her return(cause she wants be agent like Leon) on a future game or CGI movie.
Pretty intense
In the original RE4 she sounds very cute and makes you want to protect her. In this one she's all gruff and sounds like an ex junkie who has been smoking for the last ten years. Completely unattractive.

One of the scariest and most effective gameplay sections I've played in very long. Capcom made us like Ashely who is no longer the whiney teen she used to be but actually respectable as a character. This whole section was pretty freaky

Trying to navigate in the dark without your lamp is the most infuriating part of this game

Ashley in remake is a Chad. Just need some tap and she's good to go. Not like OG, you need to heal that bitch as well, can't even leave the area when she's not around
