OK, OK, the Aussies get the best deal today, but it is still an awesome price for the rest of the world. And you know, some people prefer quartz 😉 A Swiss diver for the price of a Pagani? It can be done. Cheers, Jody

  1. I picked up a blue dial varient after seeing your review. I'm keen to see it alongside my Duro (My only other 3 hand quartz diver). An insignificant few dollars more than your green one.. Great find, and thanks for the heads up and review on this one.

  2. I need to stop watching your videos!!! I don't really need another diver but just used your link and had a look out of curiosity. I ended up pulling the trigger on an Airpilot!! Cheers Jody🍻

  3. I bought my GL0087 after seeing your Mortal Kombat video a few years ago when the automatics could be bought for USD319.It's the watch in my (smallish) collection I have not grown weary of and I still find its size, style and particularly thickness to be the perfect combination for me. I'm very glad I pulled the trigger on it.

  5. Great watches but word of warning for the Aussies. I recently bought an auto and due to Ashford marking it with the RRP not what I paid, I have been hit with massive customs and tax costs which I will have to dispute.

  6. Hi Jody, A word of warning for any of your UK subscribers, I ordered one of the Glycine’s as reviewed & with P & P + import charges it’s already cost me £225 & I haven’t received it yet, not your fault but needles to say I’m a bit p****d off

  7. Despite this being at the upper upper limits of my width and length dimensions, I'm going to give it a shot. Several of my favorite Citizens are in this range but their little design choices allow me to pull them off, so hopefully things like the downward lugs and height will favor me here. I am chuckling to myself however, for passing up the numerous Airman GMT options for a plain diver: I wanted one of those Airfellas badly for years, but never felt like the price was right. Flash forward to now and a) my watch budget has ballooned, plus b) I have so so many GMTs already.

  8. Hello. I'm a fan of Chinese watches that offer great quality at a good price. I have a few of them, but I would like to buy a gift and find a beautiful, classy watch. Unfortunately, it's very difficult. There's nothing decent for under $300. The specifications are weak for the price. I've looked at Chinese brands, and there's practically no such watch for women, except for Pagani Design. What I'm looking for is a quartz watch with a sapphire crystal, all stainless steel, and a 28mm case, specifically the PD-1647. Unfortunately, it's nowhere to be found, they may have stopped producing it. There's also a nice PD-1648, but it's also not available anywhere. Could you speak with Pagani people regarding the resumption of production? Other companies could also consider making a women's watch. There's definitely a demand for it, but they need to advertise it better. Make a video on YouTube to show how it looks, not just renders, and also share information on Reddit. For example, Escapement Time released a 35mm women's watch, and it sells well, but 35mm is still too big. The best size for women is up to 28mm and classy. Thank you in advance.
