FILM DESCRIPTION:
Ashley “Ash” Williams (Bruce Campbell), his girlfriend and three pals hike into the woods to a cabin for a fun night away. There they find an old book, the Necronomicon, whose text reawakens the dead when it’s read aloud. The friends inadvertently release a flood of evil and must fight for their lives or become one of the evil dead. Ash watches his friends become possessed, and must make a difficult decision before daybreak to save his own life in this, the first of Sam Raimi’s trilogy.

  2. Legendary, game changing, genre breaking horror that, along with THE EXORCIST, ignited my love for demonically influenced movies (and all achieved on a woeful budget). Undead or not, if possessed by demons, do they classify as zombies?
    Edit : Not the most opportune of moments for the demons to entice with the “Join us” pitch hey?

  3. Change the title. Deadites aren't zombies, they're possessed people/objects. Bruce Campbell HATES it when people fail to make the separation between the two. It's like saying Regan from The Exorcist is a zombie.
