  1. This game is so fun. I remember playing the original in middle school with my friends when it came out. Some of the best times I’ve had in gaming and we’ve all been looking forward to this game since! And it released in an overall good state and the game is fun as hell!

  3. This is what happens you actually spend money to make money. Serious, competent, rigorous optimization work and QA processes that truly listened to. I don't personally know the studio structure, but most studios DO NOT have a QA team, they are purely contract workers that work highly separately from the core teams. I've got a feeling that is not the case here.

I've personally done a little bit of QA work in the industry and I've got to tell you, in contract positions, you simple aren't listened to. Bugs become mistakes made by the QA team and many systems & mechanical issues are simply chalked up to be "part of the developer's vision" and hence untouchable despite internal testing indicating that no one's enjoying the feature or it's simply broken. I've done a few total months and this could different from studio to studio however.

  4. So here’s the curious thing about the performance of this game. The last game they made was home front revolution which was dreaded with bad performance at launch. Now with this game they’ve done a complete 180.

  5. i don't understand how doubling frame rate for resolution trade is a good thing. i can tell no difference in 60fps vs 30fps and i have played many at both and tried to tell the difference. give me higher resolutions all day long

  6. I hope that DI2 does well enough to allow for more entries into the series. I really loved the originals, and this one looks amazing. Let's hope we don't have to wait another 9 years or so to see another.

Second, Remember Sonic and streets of Rage? Nobody Bitched about 80p's and whatever i's
Games are about playability not technical masterclasses like the bs we get now.
    Bring back 32bit

  8. Honestly even with out any raytracing effects, the lighting is incredibly detailed and beautiful. I would say it's honestly among the best looking fully rasterized games ever made
