Dude…… Really? 7 Days to Die should be #2. Only behind Minecraft.
I am surprised that you did not mention Minecraft, No Man's Sky and Fallout 4.

This was a list of basebuilding surival games until the last 3 lol wth happened did you get scripts mixed up and decided to YOLO it lol.
RUST RUST RUST. The biggest base builder of them. Such a massive game to miss out for me. Size is endless. Material use choices. Trap base creativity and zero bases make this a must.
A builder game without monsters or zombies would be nice, just plain old PVE thank you very much.
Some of my favourites, that I think you should check out. Most are Indie games. Animallica, Ark Survival Evolved, Conan Exiles, Core Keeper, Cryofall, Dawn of Man, Deadcraft, Deadly Flare, both of the Don't Starve games, Dysmantle, Force of Nature 1 and 2, Frostpunk, Green Project, The Infected, Junkpunk. There are many, many more. As you can see, i only got up to the J's in my Survival/Crafting games folder lol

Great list! I love a small solo dev game like subsistence getting some recognition. I will shout The Infected as the building is incredible and the pregame options you get are awesome for creating the game you want to play.

you forgot about xera survival , a online survival game where you need build your own base ,raid and loot other bases etc
Satisfactory should be top of this list as should No mans sky.
i thought the name of the game Planetary Annihilation Titans sounded familiar. I looked it up on steam and it turns out i have owned the game for over 4 years and had never even istalled it yet. Thats what happens when you have a gaming addiction.
I absolutely hate Rimworld, and I wanted to like it.
Where are DayZ and Conan Exiles?
Some other good base building/survival games:
– Conan Exiles -> Extremely good base building (with a enormous variety of buildingpieces) and a lot of fun, using thralls to bring your base to life
– Raft -> really nice raftbuilding survival, a loooot of building options and decorations
– Grounded -> a good amount of building pieces and it makes really fun to explore the garden 🙂
– ARK Survival Evolved -> one of my most loved games (over 4000 hours playtime)

In addition to any reviews, I'm still looking for games on Steam, and purely by chance I stumbled upon Primal Menace, I was very interested, but there is not much information about this game, has anyone heard anything about it?

Here’s my take on Valheim; great game with some very bad design choices imo (although there are people who defend these choices of course).
1. Very hard to solo. Incredibly difficult in my opinion
2. There’s no legitimate way to build elevated floors/structures. This game really needs you to build on flat ground bc you can’t build elevated floors like you can in satisfactory or the forest.
3. To account for 2, they let you level ground, but it’s an absolutely horrible system. Ground leveling sucks and doesn’t work well. It’s much harder than it needs to be. It’s very limited, spaces have a max raise/lower which means you have to use rocks to raise ground extra and then level more, or you have to pickaxe stubborn mounds, and it is a huge headache to get ground leveled
3. Penalty for death is frustrating and too high. You lose 5% of all skills, and also you lose all of your equipment and you have to go retrieve it. In other words, imagine dying very far from base and having to venture out naked with no weapons, armor, no ship, no food, nothing, and having to survive an area you just died in completely geared up. Not a good decision
4. You can’t teleport ore. This map is absolutely huge, like unbelievably huge. You venture very far from base, and luckily the game lets you build portals to teleport around. However, you can’t teleport ore, and your carry weight is horrendously low. This is one of the most controversial decisions they made but of course it has its defenders.
To account for some of these frustrations I started playing with console command cheats and I’m sorry but it made the game way more fun and less frustrating
I want to try to get into RimWorld but I tried it once and immediately hated the limitations. You have to pick characters that have certain skills while lacking in almost everything else. I immediately felt the desire for well rounded characters and modded the game so that I could get them. Then I dropped off bc I didn’t have the energy for the learning curve. I’ll revisit some day
Idk if it's in the list yet. But my favorite building type of game is Last Island Of Survival. Games awesome besides all the hackers lol.
it is rly shame how ppl dont mentioning SCUM coz that game is better then all this games at once
