Neat game. I hope the devs do well with this one. There's a lot to like here so far.
For anyone that's concerned about it, this game ships with Denuvo so, may be worth it to either wait until it comes out on GoG or something if that's a concern.
The premise sounds kind of like trigun anime, but not on a desert planet.
I don't know the game well, just read an article here and there. What ilks me a bit is that it is called an "alien world" but it looks to 99.9% like as if it's on Earth. Even the trees look exactly like the species we have here. It just gives me the impression that "alien" is just tagged on, or that the devs didn't have the money to develop their own alien assets and just took readymade regular ones. More accurate would probably be "Stranded: slightly sci-fi Earth Dawn" or something. Then again, I don't know much about the game and that's just a first impression.
I've been waiting for a proper 3D version of Rimworld, that is not poor Minecraft optics and/or medieval themed.
Holding me off this one here is the Publisher. I do not know how much they are involved.
Has Denuvo, I'm not buying it until that's removed.
Good video nonetheless, but this is a hard pass for me even with my hundreds of hours in RimWorld.

Can you turn off the insect invasions in the settings?
Because playing a builder sounds fun, but playing what eventually becomes tower defense is not to me.
Once I started reading how bad the bug "horde night" gets you are no longer playing a builder/exploration game but a repair game…
Blah. I was ready to get it based on the trailers. Too bad the game looks graphically nothing like the trailers. So basically just playing Rimworld again.
Rimworld is the best game ever made IMO, 3D Rimworld is interesting.
Uses Denuvo DRM. Its a hard pass from me.

this is a great concept of a game with a shitty game developer. No one should buy games that uses SSD breaking Denuvo. This game will kill eat your memory and kill your hardware.
