Repairing a Hilti TE7A sds 36v drill with a burnt out motor.

This hilti drill came without a Chuck and a motor that had no power and making bad sound.
Hilti tools and generally quite good for spare parts but getting spares from them now is becoming a handling.
I will probably stop repairing hilti tools soon as the quality of the tools has dropped recently and hilti seem to be more interested in their fleet maintanence program more than selling the tools.
But the cost of the spare parts is still quite reasonable even considering the 30 euro delivery charge.

  1. This is a very common repair with the te 7 a. Also the terminals on the electronics that connect to the battery like to get burnt as well. I hope you topped up the oil while you had it split apart. Didn’t see that in the video.
