Something I think a lot of people forget about Pixel Art is that we Gen X'rs grew up in a time when that was all there was.
So me for at least I could care less about it other than the fact it's a cheap and fast way to create a game.
One other thing is that now I am older I've been able to afford much better hardware than I was before and most Pixel Art can run on a Potato which is good but also bad at the same time.
I want everyone to be able to enjoy gaming but I'd also like to see some high end graphics in my games so I really don't like when a studio that could use the higher end stuff opts not to and call it Art. Um no the cheap bastards just didn't want to put in the time and money to make something more realistic and immersive.
That's just my two cents on the topic and remember kids, to each their own…

funny at the start all the lines sylas says are in the Legue of legends game and some are in the legends of runeterra why couldn't they put those lines voice lines in the game ?

garen technically doesnt use magic because he is not the one who cast that giant sword but kayle ¿? i believe wich is the aspect of justice or something like that so garen does not really has any magic or maybe at least not any of his own
Sylas doesn't take their magic he channels it and has the chains store it petricite is what it and alot of demacia is made of its what it does absorb magic. So sylas channels the magic of the mage into himself then the chains absorb it and then sylas at will can channel the magic out of the chains and use it. Lux doesn't loose her power she was just used like a socket to plug into.
When was Pixel art considered bad? I can't remember that time.

for me, "difficult" should not mean just tankier enemies and doing the same shit x10 longer
The MC is pretty cringe but the combat is really frenetic; I love it. I also like that HP regen comes from attacks, because I much prefer HP recovery to be sustainable, as long as you only rarely take damage, rather than exhaustible (e.g. potions). HOWEVER, they screwed up by putting the lifesteal on an essentially no-damage attack, as that incentivizes the Player to stop actually fighting and spam the Steal when they need a big Heal.
This feels like your playing the wronged villain like before they became evil and you have to stop them

The problem with Sylas is that while what he is fighting for (revenge aside) is righteous, he is absolutely a terrorist, but the people he's fighting aren't much, if any, better. Lux is one of the few truly good characters from Demacia. Garen is trying and thanks to his sister Lux being a mage, he's been forced to start questioning a lot of what he was taught to believe, but he's been indoctrinated since childhood and that's not something that breaks overnight.
There's actually a great interaction in the LoL game between Fiddlesticks and Garen. Fiddlesticks is a demon that eats fear so he can see what someone is most afraid of and turns that against them before devouring them along with their fear. Fiddlesticks has a line that may pop up when first meeting an enemy Garen where he says in a mockery of Lux's voice, "Garen… brother… please don't hate me…" This recalls the moment Garen found out Lux was a mage and the pain he felt about the way she looked at him, terrified about his reaction. Also for Lux he says, "Little… light…" which is what Sylas used to call Lux before he betrayed her.
