People fight harder for their kids, loved ones and BEER.👍
The best part of this movie is the Intro
This movie started out so promising… then I felt frustrated for the remainder of it.
That's why I never kiss 'em on the mouth.
So… did Britain get things back under control?
Maybe now it's the only safe place, ironically
Great film … Still looking forward to the sequel: '28 Months Later'
This is what bothers me about these films, understandable human emotions but then the script needs a lot of people to be incredibly stupid for the story to continue to work.
Nah, He is from 007 World is not enough. There he was bald guy named Renard, who couldn't feel anything.
I don't think the wife bit him. The saliva was enough to do it. Also, 28 Months Later is supposedly in pre-production.
Everyone makes fun of the nightvision scene 😂 yes she should’ve been leading
One thing that always bugged me about the otherwise good written plot of this movie : Why do they firebomb the Isle of Dogs ? It makes zero sense. Sure, they will kill a whole lot of infected this way, but they risk burning the entire city of London to the ground. Remember there is no one to contain and extinguish those fire and when a fire is just big enough , the wind can carry it even over rivers. Why not use nerve gas instead like they do in the end anyway ? The contaminated surfaces in the bombed areas will continue to kill infected who may have escaped the first gassing even days or weeks afterwards and you still have an intact city to decontanimate and repopulate afterwards.
the start of the film up until he escapes on the boat was filmed by Danny Boyle, the director of the first one.
I can excuse the 1 moment from the chopper scene of a mortally wounded infected still running for a bit cause its possible it was just going on pure adrenaline and died not long after, human have done that before where the adrenaline level is so high the body keeps going after all the organs fail till the adrenaline weres off, theres also been cases wear someone decapated while running kept going another 100 yards because after the body stopped receiving signals from the brain it just kept following the last command given till there wasnt enough blood to keep it going
Speaking of the cast: Bravehearts wife.
I don't get how people constantly confuse the infected in 28 days/weeks later with zombies. Zombies are undead formerly dead people, the infected in these films are alive and have never been dead.
What was that accent at 4:29? Is Mrs. Movies a bit Irish?
Have you seen Children Of Men?
lmfao… mrs. was brutal in this one… so the cowboy can't run anymore huh? lol.
I really like this one. Not as much as 28 Days Later, but I like Weeks a lot. Such a good cast too!
Not watched this yet but I get a horrible feeling with the end of the title saying "This was a bad idea" …… Hope it's not another "Pet Cemetery" crash and burn when it comes to kids
It just gives me the giggles that our own government treated Covid like the Rage virus. 😂
A movie that showcases how Love and Emotional bonds destroy a world in a viral outbreak.
The husband is a pos lol
Since it's established one infected cell can infect you withing seconds WTF would want to return to England? This would have been an easily solved plot hole, just explain there's now a vaccine and everyone returning to England was vaccinated but there's a new strain so people get infected again.
it this about periods? that birthing persons get? 28 days later, every 28 days. 28 weeks is just a set of 28 dayses put back to back. _JC
thats why you dont do mass quarantine. _JC
28:33 i lived thru the pandemic of 2019: people act crayzee. _JC
Yeeeeeeeesssss!!!!! Thank you!!!!!!!
So, the next movie will be "28 months later"?
Who else would have left instead of helping? so sorry its every man for himself 🤣🤣
There was much talk of a 28 Months Later but as far as I'm aware nothing was ever put in place.
I always thought even though he was playing a mad zombie that Robert Carlysle gave an amazing performance. It's as if he was extra mad when it came to his wife and children. As if all his love was replaced by pure hate like Jekyll and Hyde and he hated them more than everything else. The concept is essentialy rabies which in french is called "rage" so it's as if all the dark sentiments inside of us are awakened. So if in other times, he would think of the affection he had for them now he would think about all the things he hated about them like making him weak and the elements of jealousy he may have had for his wife or all the times she annoyed him, etc…
I don't know if you got this but the mom was important to the scientists because she was immuned to the disease and the boy was as well. That is why it was so essential that he be saved.
They should make like a 28 years later. Or months. It probably won't be as good but the thought of it is nice.
Just noticed the Spiffo plush in the background. Very nice!
I was blown away by it. Who would ever expect a sequel to be this good? In 2007 there was another zombie movie that had a zombie chopping chopper, Planet Terror, Robert Rodrigues's counterpart to Tarantino's Death Proof, in their joint project, Grindhouse. Planet Terror is recommended, it's ridiculous, gory fun.
I recommend to anyone that hasn't read it, the 28 days later comic is very good, follows the story of one of the characters from the first movie up until the point of the start of this one
It's only 8 years until 28 years later. Could be in the back of Danny Boyle's mind.
Good movie. Not top tier like the first one but i really enjoyed it
