A few thoughts here. The first archangel looks like a lady version of Gaster from Undertale, which is now my new headcanon. Which ties into my second thought: if the townsfolk on this island all came from different worlds, what if the monsters did as well?

The music is blowing me away! I was hoping it have good music given the whole cassette theme, but it's even better then I hoped. This is now becoming one of my most anticipated games of the year. I'm really hoping it clicks for me because I've played a number of other monster taming games and they haven't, like Nexomon Extinction and Monster Crown. For Nexomon I disliked the SP system where I'd have to heal after every wild encounter. Also while the level scaling is nice, even if I did every battle my team just couldn't keep up in levels and I'd have to catch a new team every area (which could be argued is good for variety, but I wanted my core team of 6). I also disliked that final evos would pop up in the wilf quite early in game, really discouraged me evolve me Nexomon. I also dislike the lack of move type variety, it felt like Gen 1 Pokémon. Sorry this turned into ramblings lol, on a more positive note another monster taming game that clicked for me was Coromon, love that game (tho it does have some slight similar issues that I have with Nexomon, mostly everything being 1 type).
