  1. "Did Alan Grant even fire his gun the the movie?"

Yes he did but you don't see it because the camera was on Hammond, but you do hear the shots. All three or four shots which somehow missed the Raptor that was only a few feet away.

  2. My favorite JP game is also the first one on the Genesis. I loved how there are things from the novel which didn’t make it into the film but actually made it into that game, like the river rafting stage.

Definitely would love to see you tackle all the TLW games. TLW has probably my favorite Jurassic game of them all, the TLW arcade game.

  3. My first time playing a Jurassic Park game was the Arcade driving one back at Chuck-E Cheese when I was six to eleven years old, and my brother and I had so much fun playing but we could never make it out of the Gallimimus level and always ran out of out Quarters. So yeah that brought back good memories.🤣🤣

  4. As a matter of fact, he did fire that gun. Off screen, though and it's jammed when we see it again. Also, a note on Chaos Continues. Yes, that is meant to be Alan Grant. The the game's instruction manual confirms this.

  5. I have some fond nostalgia for the SNES Jurassic Park games and the Sega arcade game. As a kid I remember playing the original SNES JP game while also collecting the Kenner toys, and occasionally playing the Sega JP arcade game at the Chuck E Cheeses that was in the same exact shopping center as the Toys R Us where we got most of the Kenner JP toys from. At the Rio in Maryland where they had both a movie theater & an arcades, I remember playing the Jurassic Park Pinball game.

In recent years, I’ve managed to beat SNES JP 1 twice & JP Part 2 The Chaos Continues 4 times (once on medium and 3 times on hard). The most recent game I’ve grown to love is the Raw Thrills arcade game that I can still find at the local mall here in Texas.

Btw, that AVGN complaint is completely ridiculous since there is a literal divide from one bush to another revealing an obvious passageway. I was able to figure this out pretty quickly even as a kid, so, that’s not a legitimate reason to dump on JP Part 2. Yes it’s hard, but it has a terrific atmosphere, the graphics are still good, the music is top notch, the controls are solid for the most part, and I honestly think it’s still a good game. I honestly don’t think it’s better than the 1st game after thinking about it long enough, but it’s still a good game. And I’d rather take either one of the SNES games than the 2 Sega Genesis games.

  6. If you’re not playing a Jurassic Park game, 3 other top notch dinosaur games I can highly recommend are Dino Crisis, Turok: Dinosaur Hunter, and my personal favorite, Primal Rage.

  7. 13:30 fun fact, Ocean Software was bought out by Infogrames, who also bought out Atari and renamed itself to Atari. And Atari might still own rights to Ocean's JP games. So, the joke is actually accurate in a weird way.
