  1. Do you own Above and Below purely because you want to have the entire trilogy on your shelf, or do you actually love the game? I'm asking because I've heard from a lot of people, including the Dice Tower, that Near and Far has like completely replaced that game. I never played any of those so I'm wondering if it's worth starting from the first game or should I just jump into Near and Far and skip Above and Below?

  2. This is a game my family would enjoy. I like the different ways the luck of the dice roll can be mitigated and the twist of the last on the board wins the round. Thank you for the video.

  3. I like the mechanics, but the there's some glaring ludo-narrative dissonance here that makes it a bit unintuitive: pitfalls make you go faster. You get more silver from the mine for being last.
Also, those are the ugliest meeples I've seen in a while 😮 Meeples aside I like the rest of the presentation, especially the shadow for closest which is pretty neat.

  4. Just as a technical note: There were some audio and video issues in this review that had multiple causes. Through much troubleshooting, the issues appear to have been rectified. Thank you for your understanding and grace in allowing me to get this new studio up to speed. Hopefully, these issues will not be seen in future videos.

  5. Hey Mike know you are in flux, its much better than the last video so you are making progress, this looks like a fun find! how do you feel about this as a nice short filler, but it being 5 rounds kind of stretches that out, do you feel like it overstays its welcome? or it stays pretty fresh throughout.
