On our daily bike ride we always take a new adventure and see exciting things but this was a bit much for me! Teddy was loving the attention, he is always intrigued by big animals, maybe we should get a pet cow haha. I’d love a highland cow they’re so cool. From donkeys to stray sheep, the countryside is never a dull moment, well maybe dull weather but still. Teddy has pulled me off the bike a couple of times, you have to keep your guard but as a whole he was brilliant without any training whatsoever he just knows to run directly paralell with keeping his lead slack. When he’s got to go though he’s gotta go and stops very abruptly! He doesn’t give any warning slowing at all he literally squats mid sprint!

Good think they look like sheep. Donkey's normally are very afraid of dogs and are known to attack them on site.
I worry Teddy might get too excited and pull the bike over one day.
Maybe bring the donkeys carrots next time?

Scare Donkeys are you mad. In the USA they use them to protect beef cattle from wolves, pumas & bears. Your dog after a kick from one of them would be in a coma. Please also notice they have a large mouth & can administer a significant bite. I suggest you don't allow your dog to urine in close proximity to Donkeys as they can smell pheromones. This is why one Donkey attempted to mount the other. Aggression. I further suggest you check out U- Tube videos of Donkeys killing wolves, coyotes etc

The donkeys seem to like teddy . That so nice to see animals getting along .so so adorable .you did a very good thing to go live in the country . Its all nature .and fresh air .so very happy for you and your family . You have beautiful land .here in canada depends where not so nice land .where im from no land for animals thats really sad .
