  1. There should honestly be limit on how many times you pause in a battle. It’s too easy sometimes when you constantly pause. For example, when you dropped on the hutts they couldn’t even hyperspace out because of you pausing and spawning in ships. I’m not hating but I feel like it’s too much of an advantage in battle.

  2. Hey Shack, You should get that Zhar mission over and done soon. I think if you take Zhar you can collect tabanna gas from the planet and give a good boost to your income.

  3. Oh, err captain shack, you should try acknowledging the fellas doing captain's logs and all that in your next "State of the Galaxy" intro. Would love to see Saber Squadron's fight or the Arquent's last stand mentioned in the intro.

  4. Even though I bash my head into the wall and yell at my screen about mispronunciations and forgotten units, I'll watch you through it all! ❤

Much love and say it with me, Sale-uk-cah-my!

  5. First Admiral Solo’s log
    Time: 1100
    Location: Raxus Prime
    Status: Worried

Needless to say, I don’t like this… not for any real reason, but I have a feeling something BIG is happening…
I have no idea what happened, all I know is that this log was delayed because of the incident…
Remember our good friend kyle katarn? I have a feeling damned Corsec is getting some valuable information out of him… SOMEHOW a frigate full of coaxium managed to get near mon cala space. Luckily, I was on standby and noticed the bulk freighter with codes that are supposedly on a captured agent moved into the system… we blasted it, but the explosion cause massive damaged to the nearby civilian and military ships…
    Good news: Threat eliminated
Bad news: well… if it isn’t obvious, we might need to get our man back…
I don’t know wha they’re doing to him, so why he gave them his codes, but I’m concerned for more of these… “raids”… more than that, Raxus was a perfect in, they could bring in a massive fleet and take us out before we could react…
I’m stuck here, sadly… but If it happens again, we’ll be ready… Corsec is half imperial, so I stand by the idea of “value in respect” is lower than the surface levels of kamino…

  6. Captains log
Week 105 – Salucami (Had to double check with the navigation officer that's where we were)
Captain Shadow Yularen – Species = Zabrak (To explain the name just call me captain shadow)

Well, we're fully repaired. Man those FireStar stations pack a punch, I'm surprised that we didn't lose a chunk of the ship or even the dorsal fin. Luckily, the black sun retreated and left there ship refitter completely full of supplies. Of course the Arqudent took priority for repairs as she is one of our main capital ships and brand new at that but luckily the captains of the other vessels including the Arqudent realised the state my ship was in and made sure I got the necessary materials and repairs so now the 'Kyber' is fully operational. The other captains additionally offered me there fighter squadrons, I declined them as I know the 'Arqudent' already has limited fighters. I said, "I will request some new squadrons myself and request experienced one's at that."

Anyway, being in a dockyard meant I didn't have my comms to full or was even in my ship half the time. So I haven't been reading the after action reports that much what I do know is, before general Kota invaded Salucami which meant we could go planet side and a cantina (Poor hangar control chief lost and arm wrestle with me and had to buy everyone 3 rounds, never challenge a zebra to an arm wrestle.) Was that Captain Shack went to free Toydaria, again, and used a new strategy called hyperspace skipping it works but only against small fleets. Also was the news that hilariously the Captain, or more accurately Admiral, Shack somehow lost a whole platoon of medics, no joke he did how I have no idea, turns out he forgot to check behind the space station.

Anyway that is all, hopefully we are back in the fight soon this old ship refitter is more of a dry dock after all the parts were used in repairing our ships.

Also, I know fighter captains can see this log if you want to serve abroad the MC75 star cruiser 'Kyber' Please let me know.

    End of log.

P.S The hangar chief wants a rematch double or nothing the crews gonna be happy tonight.

I was thinking more along the lines of the 2015 battlefront… they have the “infantry turret”, which is like a heavy anti-infantry blaster turret, maybe like they deploy 3 in a triangle formation, or they just have a bunch of them since 2015 also had the Ion turret (shot some form of an ion torpedo, maybe even disruptor?) and then it’s like 3 infantry and then 1-2 if the ions… would be pretty nice and I think balancing would be easy since the anti-infantry and vehicle turrets in game have the accuracy of a plank if wood…

  9. Just as there was the famous "Ackbar Slash" maneuver, I think credit needs to be given to Cpt Shack's hyperspace ambush manuever! His tactic of preventing units from running by dropping single sensor ships sequentiallly out of hyperspace until suddenly pouncing in force at point blank range and completely murdering the surprised prey deserves a unique name! I will go ahead and nominate that term "dropping a S.H.A.C.K." (Shack's Hyperspace Ambush Close Kill) !

Found on a screen on the bridge of the liberation:

Comms officer Bear to CAG Avisern:
This rebellion has seen the pain of loss, the pain of war, and the pain of death… but some days none of them compare to the pain our captains 'rural' accent.
I just cant take it any more, that does it, I'm buying our good captain a galactic dictionary!
    Its pronounced 'Sa-Luke-Ah-My'.

  11. Its great to see a youtuber not afraid to take losses it keeps me on the edge of my seat. Yes people will say your doing this wrong but i dont like a steamroll knowing that they will win in the end. Dont forget shack you could build 2 mon cal variants capital ships for the price of one dauntless what you could do is build a cheaper justice class mon cal and a liberator or freedom class capital ships and send them to your north fleet for either quick response or you could pincer the right side of the map. Giving you more control of the south and west sides of the map. Also dont forget to build those econ structures to increase the pop cap on planets with one or two buildings on them. Great vid and rip col Sierra you will be missed.

  12. Hey Shack you should pair that Providence up with the Liberation those two ships belong together As much as I love the way Rebel One looks She's way too modified to feel like a Separatist ship anymore

  13. Captain's log Addendum 5a: command briefing minutes recorded for followup on the [REDACTED] incident. Admiral's Tallon and Eclipse in attendance.

ST: "our autopsy revealed nothing of further import. The suicide implants were imperial grade, recently installed by the freshness of the scaring to the jaw and palate. It was probably installed sometime after the battle of Dathomir."
JE: "it's disturbing that an infiltrator could remain undetected for so long without alerting suspicion."
AT: "there must have been signs. Alliance intelligence is going over his psych evaluations again and any performance reports for the last eight months. He must have expressed a change in loyalties to someone. What is the progress on tracing the communications."
ST: "slow. We know that our saboteur was in contact with a handler on board our ghost ship. Captain Wistara was able to find the same transmissions in the Endurance's comm buffer. She has had no luck finding her saboteur."
    JE: "and Captain Bonterri?"
ST: "The Reliant has reported no sabotage attempts yet."
AT: "going after the hyperdrives of two of our ships seems too isolated to be simple sabotage. If they wanted to knock out ships out of the fight, there are more important ships that would do the damage."
JE: "fear has always been the empire's tool. The effects have already been felt through our fleet after the disaster we went through to liberate Saleacami's orbit."
ST: "our analyst was able to glean some information on our ghost ship. Jek was able to find a ship called the Adjudication that matches the general profile of our bogey. I'm sending you all copies of what we found."
JE: "this can't be correct, the Adjudication was declared lost with all hands after partisans snuck a bomb on board."
AT: "perhaps the late Saw Guerra over exaggerated that win."
ST: "what's strange is that the records of where she was built were moved to extremely secure imperial archives. Far more secure than what warrants from a Victory Cruiser. It seems the imperials buried every mention of this ship in most records. From the feeds rogue squadron provided. The Adjudication seems to have been modified with a non-standard hyper-comms relay, presumably one that can pick up encrypted transmissions on the low band. Judging from how she remained undetected until she powered on her engines, I posit she may be running stealth composites as well."
AT: "let's not jump to any conclusions. There are still a lot of unknowns in this."
JE: "whatever the case it seems whatever plan they had had now gone up in smoke."
ST: "admiral, we may have forced them to go underground. But the potential threat is still out there. I don't believe that they are simply done."
AT: "neither do we. For now though I think the threat is minimal. We can't afford our caution to breed any more distrust and fear. We will keep security heightened for a few months and slowly scale back to make sure everyone knows we have the problem well in hand. I'm ordering all data be turned over to Nightswan and Alliance intelligence. They'll take it from here."
ST: "Sir! This was my investigation!"
JE: "and you and your crew have done the alliance proud. Let us take over so you can return to your duties as Captain."
AT: "with the loss we took over Saleacami, we need driven officers now more than ever. I'll keep in touch, Captain Teague. Perhaps we'll be speaking more often."
ST: "yes sir. Thank you sir."
