Thanks Morne for finally allowing me the chance to have a look at Mathey-Tissot and giving me the excuse to have a look at their history and back catalogue. This is definitely one of their better models, but it is still not as good as it could and should be. Cheers, Jody

  1. just wonder how much % sales of this company actually are confused customers that thinking they are buying a 'TISSOT' from SWATCH.

  2. I will never understand peoples focus on saphire crystal. I'm perfectly fine with mineral crystals and have yet to scratch one. I guess this is only relevant, when you are rough to your watches and bang them around carelessly, although saphire gives you more of an ease of mind while wearing.

  3. Hello Jody I'm glad you are discussing the Mathey-Tissot. I purchased the GMT H 903 with the jubilee bracelet from Joma shop a year ago and still runs well. Looks good along among my many 200 plus watches. Cheers!

  4. Hi! I'm just about to buy my first watch for my graduation and my watch of choice is the Hamilton khaki field 42 automatic with a brown leather strap. I wonder, if it's too big for my wrist. I have a about 7 inch wrist and the lug to lug is about 50 mm I guess. I got a really good deal on it in Finland about 450 euros. Is it too big for a every day wearer?

  5. Full TGV … 😂🤣😂🤣 … the amount of 'scientific study of time' and it's acknowledgment is appreciated … Cheers! Learned a lot about Mathey-Tissot ! It's on the radar.

  6. A while back I knocked back one of these for sale for a real cheap price. I'd never heard of the brand and just assumed it was some kind of Tissot replica or homage or whatever.
    My mistake I guess 😮

  7. Hello. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and expertise on watches. I have been learning quite a bit. What are your thoughts on the NOWA and Cadola brands? If you have already covered them could you direct me to those videos? Thanks again for your time.

  8. YouTube and in no small way JOMW are my TGV😉 And not to argue but your Hamilton has plenty of heritage with Hamilton being one of several precursors to CWC for the British Air Force, and not to mention their time only models being issued to the allies in WWII. Great review and definitely a cool timepiece!

  9. I have one that's called the MT 369, which I bought 2 years ago for 250 euros via a facebook group. It became my favorite and I ended up wearing it 95% of the time ever since I got it. Runs consistently at minus 1 spd. I never remove it even in the shower.
