My ex-husband committed suicide by hanging, and it took me several years for those types of items to not trigger me. We were even divorced when he died, so I can definitely understand how it can be an issue for others.
Dave's pizza reviews have to be looked at as entertaining shtick and not so much as accurate ratings. This demonstrates that perfectly.
Best pizza on Disney World property is at Pizza Ponte in Disney Springs. Identical to the local pizza here in NY. I live on Long Island, so I’ve had lots of pizza. Pizza Rizzo is okay, but it’s no 7 out of 10…maybe a 5. Never had pizza in Epcot, will have to try it now.
Disney is so sanitized now, everything in the park is offensive to everyone. Get rid of fountains too because I know someone who drowned in one.

Hi Tom, I went to Graduate school at Fordham University and I lived near Arthur Avenue. I have wonderful memories of pizza out of the wood oven on Arthur Avenue.

I’m sorry but to talk about changing the haunted mansion at all is lunacy IMO. It’s iconic, if it bothers you that much, you shouldn’t be on the ride at all.

Who pays attention to all of that stuff? I mean are we going to be removing cars because of triggering car accidents? Things have gotten out of hand, Disney can’t accommodate everyone based on their personal life experiences. If I don’t like something or it doesn’t appeal to me, I don’t go/don’t support it. I don’t expect the world to adjust to me. 😊

Wait. It’s because of suicide, not because of lynch mobs in the Wild West? How many people in Europe know people who hung them self? I will tell you one thing, I remember when my father past away. It was ironically on Memorial Day. Do I get offended every Memorial Day? His birthday was March 8th, which later was acknowledged and observed in the US as international women’s day. Do I get offended every March 8th? I know that Halloween was very emotional, as seeing tombstones everywhere and other representations of death was very depressing, but it’s Halloween! I’m not going to go all Karen and tell people to take them down. How many people lost a love one in the last year or two that have ridden Phantom Manor or Haunted Manson? I rode it 7 months after my father past. I knew what I was doing. Hell, I inherited his ticket!

It was funny when you said no one wants to go with you to get pizza. I’m the same way , I to was from the Bronx. When we go for pizza and they say New York style, well I’ll be the judge of that. I know this isn’t really related, but I TRULY hope Disney World will once again become that CLEAN place, which it was before the pandemic! We’re from Denmark and have visited DW in 2015 and 2018 – it was AMAZING! I was so struck by how “magically” clean everything was! It really added to the immersive cartoonish “else-world” of it all! Hearing that DW is FILTHY these days saddens me 🙁 I pray good-old Bob Eiger can bring back DW to its majestic former self, over the coming 2 years!
