Why Russia is Expanding into Arctic During Ukraine War

Right now, Russian tanks are rolling through freshly fallen snow toward NATO-controlled territory. Huge atomic-powered vessels crush the ice frozen atop the North Sea to create lanes for goods and battleships to travel through. The most important battleground in the world may be in the Arctic, and new satellite images suggest that Russia is doing everything possible to secure its position in the region. Why is Russia after such an isolated location? Check out today’s epic new video to find out!

  1. "In the region" its funny how not even 1 minute in and already the narrative framing begins. Russia, just like America and Canada, has arctic regions… and has every right to put up infrastructure where ever it sees fit. It can also sail and fly in the international portions under freedom of navigation… just the way America does all over the world.

  3. It would be best, in a post-Putin world, if America, Canada, Denmark (Greenland), Finland, Iceland, Norway, Russia, and Sweden could all cooperate, especially to keep China, a "Near-Arctic" liar, out as the Chinese Communist Party will deplete the area of fish, raw materials, and use it as a way to expand its aggression globally.

  4. I like your video's so hopefully you don't take this the wrong way. I have watched most of your videos. Looking back on most, (90%) your predictions and/or analysis of the "what ifs". You are RARELY correct. In fact, I would bet against you everytime! Sorry!

  5. I kind of see this video as properganda, trying to panic people into thinking Russia is taking over the North Atlantic. This video isn't telling you the VAST amount of UN navy's that are stationed up there is unreal! Just the British themselves have more ships and submarines up there, let alone the vast amount of firepower/technological advantage they hey. You also have Denmark and France along with the US up there, making a MASSIVE presence do I wouldn't be worried 1 bit about this hypothetical scenario.

  6. Are the Russian sub commanders that paranoid? I thought the sub commanders were cool-headed and top-notch in Russia, since they only have a few typhoon/shark class subs that actually work. I doubt a Russian sub commander would say they are explicitly being attacked, but I could see the Russian government using it as an excuse to escalate things and blame the US for it.
