Mali Dutchie Breed Talk | Cruiser Recall Training | Sweet Affectionate Hope

Morning play with Joey, Abra, Tilly and Cutie Pie. Dad is multi tasking; teaching Elle about Dragonflies whilst having some bite games with the girls.

Tank looks on and thinks, I just want to kiss, no biting games for me.

We talk about Diesel’s potential adoption. It hasn’t worked out. We know it has to be right.

Cruiser is working on recall training at the moment. It’s a very important command here at the farm. Everyone has to have exceptional recall for safety. We’re a working environment with traffic coming and going, behavioural management and even the odd snake. There’s lots of reasons for it. Cruiser is on a long line to help with his training.

Hope has some mummy cuddles. She’s such a sweet affectionate Boxer girl. Her kisses and hugs make you feel so special.

One of our followers asked Luke to talk about Abra. Amos has asked if we can share more about the Belgian Malinois/Dutch Shepherd. From her swimming to her intense focus on Kitty Rose to her self control, is it her breeding, her unique traits, and/or her environment on the farm? Thank you Amos, a really good question.

In the playground, Cruiser goes under the dock. He really likes this space, from the beginning we had thought it might be a bit like a den for him. But he’s still on the long line and it gets stuck. Luke goes in to free him. And then well he’s already in now, so we get a big ball and like old times, have a game of big ball in the dam.

At the end of the day, we get a very special delivery. It’s from Dru. A box of delicious fresh salmon for the doggies, their absolute favourite. And a box of treats for us humans. It’s incredible. Lobster and chocolate coated fruit. We’re blown away. Thank you so very much Dru. It was very special and we felt like we were fine dining. We will cook the salmon up for the doggies tomorrow for a delicious lunch.

In the evening, Rover tries on his new undies and onesie. It works a treat. Thank you to those that gifted Rover these accessories. We’ve made a separate parcel opening and thank you video. Ben is putting it out in the next week or so. But thank you very much to all those that have sent us and the doggies such lovely thoughtful gifts.

  1. Lots of awesome moments. I watch Hope now being a boxer and remember when her and Faith were introduced to the wonderful Bandit. He told them how the world of a Boxer should be and how their life was going to be from now on. Lessons well heard ❤❤❤ now Luke you need to measure Abras tail. I swear it looks the longest of all the dogs and she is not yet grown 😂😂😂 the impromptu damn swim was awesome to watch. The big balls last alot longer with no snaggletooth around, bless him 😊😊😊

  2. Loved Luke's explaining Abra and Kitty Rose. What's funny to me is Abra will never get the ok to eat kitty so she's just going to waiting forever. It is so awesome to watch her intelligent facial expressions even tho she's only 5 months old. No wonder military, protection type agency's pay thousands of dollars for Abra's breed when they r trained. She really is beautiful to watch.

  3. Abra is a truly amazing dog. Love how Elle calls Cutie Pie a "Boss Pug and lover". All the dogs are fabulous. Poor Crizer getting stuck under the dock. Great talk about Abra. Love the videos ❤❤

  5. Sam & Luke…….you need to get a beagle in the pack! I miss seeing them from the Doggy Daycare (our Ginger is my profile pic, she's 11) and remember your Charlie run after he passed. As a beagle owner I love the howling, the flappy ears & the short legs running. Tilly has become one of my favorites lately after hearing her story. I am curious if the working dogs stick together or if Joey has Tilly's back bc they are besties?

  6. Great video guys as usual, but my comment goes out to Dru Smith. I dont know you Dru, but I have seen over the years the support you have given to Luke, Sam and the kids (also the dogs obviously) and just wanted to say thankyou for being that person!!!!! Us Aussie's are good people and you just keep proving that over and over again x.
