History is repeating itself and to be honest McDaniels does come off very unlikable as do most Belichick assistants who turn to head coaching. Mark Davis is the bigger problem though McDaniels shouldn't have been hired in the first place and the Raiders perhaps had something special brewing with Rich Bisaccia and players liked and respected him and Bisaccia was clearly a players coach but the Raiders loss was my Packers gain.
As a Raider fan since 1976, I think this coach is the worst one since Lane Kiffin. His whole good career was just riding TB’s success. Without TB and Bellichek he has been mediocre at best.
