Have you ever purchased independent merchandise inspired by Disney parks?
Literally spat my drink out when you were talking about Team Green – it was hilarious and exactly what I was thinking, nobody is going to care about those “character” bios on screens 😂 The whole post-show feels like such a shameless cash grab with very little creativity or integrity.
Disney use to set the standards for quality in the industry on so many levels… that has sadly fallen by the wayside…small world is a favorite of mine as I remember the first time I experienced it at the new york worlds fair…so sad to see disney lose sight of what made it a special place to visit
I remember the last time I went to Disney in 2019 and I went on Small World, in the jungle scene if you look at the ceiling you could see the vents and the lights on in the vents. I’ve known for a while that Small World needs a refurbishment
Agree with you that Disney world is starting to look like a 6 flags park with dirt and smelly water. Just look at Alien swirling saucers and the broken floor tiles and a missing ride vehicle

I was at WDW 2/28-3/6. I saw trash in the water riding the Liberty Belle, and while riding the train. I stepped in sticky areas where drinks were dropped. I could go on, but my point is I used to say Disney parks were so clean you could eat off the streets. Plus broken animatronics. How sad. 😢
I visited MK 3 times last month and was impressed how small world is in bad shape. The water is so dirt that it’s staining panels. The amount of coins in the water it’s a good example how long they didn’t do proper maintenance. Not to mention the tv screen at the end of the ride that used to show guest names and it’s not only dirt but showing some static goodbye from some foreign language.
I completely agree that maintenance at WDW is not being done. People will blame covid but it’s been in a state of free fall for many years. The company can continue to raise ticket prices and parking prices and reduce and remove items and portions but the rides are disgusting and in ill repair but can’t be fixed.

MK needs go step up their QS options. I've found myself only eating at Gastons and the spring roll cart the last few years. Then I go to a resort when I want good QS food.
Can pin trading be done with Universal Studios Pins? Just got a handful from my neighbors.
Small World looked great when we're there in February. It looked 100% better than the same time last year. Yes, some things were missing, but overall it looked great. Boats we're not dirty.
I guess some people just have to find something bad in everything.

Hello Tom. Thanks for your open and honest reviews of rides that need love and attention from Disney mainenance cast members. Hopefully someone is listening and making things happen.
Reselling modified clothing and accessories is completely legal. Disney continues to be POS. If you bedazzle a shirt or hat you’re allowed to sell it regardless or copyright images. It’s transformative.
It is very peculiar that OLC chose the MK version of Small World…not too long ago they realized their mistake and were planning on relocating/rebuilding the ride to closer resemble the superior DL version.
I feel that the version of Small World at MK is a disgrace. As someone used to the DL version it's pretty much un-ridable. Not only due to the upkeep, but just in general the scenes are so shallow with so little density of figures and set pieces.
It's a bummer WDW decided to destroy the great version of Snow White, and especially Mr Toad, but kept the horrible version of Small World…
Maintenance seems to have been a problem at WDW going back over a decade+…I'd assume due to the vast size of the property it takes more people and organization to keep it all perfect. That shouldn't be an excuse at all though with the money they make.
Disney should be more concerned with how their new movies are going over like a lead brick with their decisions.
Seriously disney and Nintendo should get married over the stupid crap they wanna go after average people for. Between Nintendo going after people making roms(for free) for games that havent made Nintendo money in decades, to this thing with the ears. I guess Disney had more of a case because ppl are making money off the ears but still disney just because you can doesn't mean you should

SmallWorld is looking very ragged!! Disneyland ride is more colorful!! Disney you gotta clean things up or your competitors like Universal is going run you outta town!!
I was just at both Disney World and Universal back in January. Disney was still leaps and bounds cleaners than Universal. I was quite disappointed with Universal as I go every year and they were making tremendous progress in cleanliness but of late not so much. In California though both Disney and Universal are on point with cleanliness.
Disney needs to look into BLAB for confronting Justin Scarred at Disneyland. They are out of line.
The maintenance issues on the attractions has been sad for the past few years even before Covid. WDW is a premier vacation destination worldwide. There’s absolutely no excuse. The parks should be immaculate, clean, with friendly helpful staff. Believe me, their guests notice!!!
22:20 I do miss the Cast member interactions (Disneyland) I know of stories that the Castmembers that roomed around Mainstreet would get people involved in there acts and the Guests LOVED IT. I remember I saw a piano player play and I asked for a requested song that was appropate for the area. He got up, asked if I knew how to play it (said yes) and gestured with his hands for me to play. I did so and for a short time "I WAS THE CASTMEMBER" and I LOVED IT. BUT now it's seems to be disappearing.
Some of the costumes on the Small Word dolls look dirty and worn. If the Disney people need help I could come in on my day off and wash and sew. I know they’re going through tough times.
Having just been to Disney Tokyo and ridden their “It’s a small world”, “Its a small world” ride in Florida is in horrible condition and shape.

I was just there. I noticed the same issues with Peter Pan & Small World. I also think the Haunted Mansion has some lighting issues
I'm amazed how many people are selling their own counterfeit "Disney" merchandise on Etsy, Facebook, Ebay, etc. I've seen a lot of it over the years and it's clearly not authentic Disney merchandise. I'm sure there are a handful of sellers who have purchased the rights to sell merchandise but so many are fake. Disney has the means and the right to protect their brand. It's unfortunate when people continue to claim their innocence when they are clearly not.
Chapeck was all about cutting costs, cutting jobs, decreasing number of staff working at a given time. Eventually, the cost cuts start to become visible. I agree the visible aspect of the cost cuts is becoming more obvious. I think with Bob Iger coming back, he will start correcting all of the nonsense Chapeck caused. Iger is there to make money for the company but he's smart enough to know you have to spend money to make money. He's not only for the company but for the fans who help build them to the brand they have become.
We were at Disney last week. It was my daughters' first time going (ages 13 and 9). My 9 year old spent the entire ride of It's A Small World counting all of the dysfunctioning dolls. Sad that that was her focus on such a classic ride. It is time Disney to either close it, or revamp it and bring it back to life!
What’s frustrating is that during the pandemic would have been the perfect time for all of this deep cleaning and maintenance.

I say the small RIDE is one of the ones I couldn’t care less about the one time I went on it 23 years ago this summer summer 2000 at the age of seven. I was already done with it. It broke down and relies on it with my family. I had to head stupid song for two hours. Most Savino’s might not mind that but you know seven years old first shift do they want to go back until I was 18 stuck on the same road in the same spot for two hours listen to that song and having an autism diagnosis as well as a attention deficit disorder. Diagnoses didn’t help. and the fact that I didn’t go back to Disney for another 11 years for my 18th birthday I made sure not to go on that one of those. They were some issues that too because Rob was still suffering from the does the berries I had push things have gotten a bit worse since then figured out a plan though when I now went to Disneyland, California five years ago this month because of the issues the past two times at 18 and seven at Disney World hint for anybody who’s traveling with people with disabilities in the party, especially what might be invisible disappear, such as autism, attention, deficit disorder, attention, deficit, hyperactive disorder, or any of similar disabilities make a plan that with that person is an overwhelmed for them to let you guys know, so you can find a place to sit down and take a minute away for the crowds to get from somebody who has a third trip to Disney park to figure that out and the last time I went to Disney it was just one day at Epcot two years ago this May for my 28th birthday same plan it works but make sure not to do anything that didn’t feel comfortable with our Marvin too much for me at least I didn’t go to Magic Kingdom so I won’t even have to have considered skipping the small world ride never again
Personally, I would like it if we could get the rest of the world with a refurb on it's a small world. If not new scenes at least new dolls and representing the rest of our cultures.
It's a small world is my favorite attraction but it was always missing half of the world to me. So to see the rest of the world and the many cultures represented on it would be wonderful!
