Random tip – the scythe is weirdly good at breaking open those buried barrels and cases, especially if the barrel isn’t in the center target area of the scythe but one of the two side target spots. It will let your axe and pickaxe last a little longer.

When you break down over 5 in one crusher, I've found that the more you process, the better items you get. Still fairly rare, but I've received a few opals this way. Definitely not necessary, but nice little bonus. Hope this helps!
EDIT: When you find bee nests, make sure to break them open with your net at the ready! Two bees will pop out, and try to catch both of them. If you end up catching a queen bee, hold onto her, as she'll be useful in crafting something later. That's all I'll say! Good luck!

Those large 5 sectioned white-ish gray rocks drop lots of copper and a chance for iron.
You have been leaving tin when mining copper. You will needs lots of tin for nails.
