My only issue with this episode is that they tease us with the mythosaur in the previous episode, and then give us a non-action-oriented episode where the main character is in it for about 10 minutes tops.
not me being one of those people who felt like this episode was a bit andor-like LMAO but it was more that the tone, dialogue and the set pieces felt very reminiscent rather than the message. andor is obviously telling a very different story but i really liked how they approached the scenes on coruscant with a similar kind of gravity. i will say yes it did feel a bit odd interspersed with the rest of the episode but if there's anything i've learned from book of boba fett it's that sometimes these shows just like to take a left turn into relatively unrelated territory lmao.
Ok so Dr. Pershing's tell is twofold. On one hand it's a moral dilemma. Because we see that whenever he rubs his ear, he is not only telling the truth, but it is also a reminder of how he was held hostage by an Imperial pilot back in season 2 when Din and Cara hijacked the ship he was on just before Cara shot the pilot whilst knicking him in the process. And right after you see him holding his ear. If you look close enough you can still see the scaring and deformation on his upper ear and it's a constant reminder of not only how close to death he was, but also reminding him of the part he played in Grogu's salvation from Moff Gideon.
Aye the TED talk moment is exactly what happened in the world when the Nazi’s fell. All of their scientist was divided up amongst the superpowers in the world. And we still use a lot of their technology today.
Kinda shitty for y'all to shill for turbotax considering the amount of money them and other tax companies have paid lobbyists to keep the US tax system convoluted and unapproachable in order to cultivate an opportunity for their businesses to make profit. Turbotax is Empire shit yo.
I like how the Pershing storyline introduces the bigger story, but yeah, it could have been shorter, it could have been cut up in at least two parts, and the theatre part didn't make much sense (yet).
I really loved the sequel trillogy EXCEPT for TROS, they fumbled the landing completely (IMO, don't come for me, if you liked TROS I'm happy for you). Anything they can do to help repair that awful landing I'm all for. Also, Din and Bo with Grogo in Tow must be written!
The shows heading into a tough place….it needs to bring us to the first order…something noone cares about from a trilogy people want to pretend didnt happen….they would have been better off pretending that trilogy didnt happen and retconning the future w mando…RIP star wars
It was a great episode, in my opinion. I appreciate they are finishing off other stories while building on The Mandolorian which is really awesome. Can't wait to see Mof episodes soon.
With Pershing, it makes sense that that he’d be a candidate for the amnesty program because he was just a doctor researching cloning. He didn’t hurt Grogu and even tried to protect him
I think my favorite reference from the taxi droid was the holo museum. I think it’s referring to a chapter in the Jedi academy trilogy where chewy and 3p0 lose Jacen and Jana , hopefully we get a Jedi academy series in the future or something maybe they can mix it a bit with the heir to the empire story line too or something
Am i the only who just didn’t care about Dr. Pershing at all but because I was more invested in what mando and Bo were doing and going through than this side plot, still a good ass episode though
The sub plot took 30 minutes to explain that empire working to prevent their cloning science from being used…. This whole episode has Thrawn written all over it. The sub plot and Bo's house getting bomb smell like one of Thrawn's llong con schemes.
Seeing the stuff in Amnesty Housing made me think of all the people born into the Empire’s rule, all the people whose parents remember the time of Jedi and the Senate but who can’t talk about those subjects because they’re taboo under the Empire, all the people who wanted to help their families by becoming soldiers in imperial armies, or support themselves with stable government jobs within the Empire like communications officers or things like that. And then some of those people had the chance to quit their office jobs when a Rebel squadron blew the roof off the place and held your boss’s boss at gunpoint. I dunno, it’s just weird thinking about the different mindsets of all the people working within the Empire, and those who were so indoctrinated by the lifestyle that they remained loyal to their employers despite learning of all the terrible things they did behind the scenes, things you may not have been part of but you definitely helped along with your service. Things like the Sith Lord being in charge of everything, the clone army being directed to commit genocide on the Jedi, the destruction of Alderaan, the amount of middle management choked to death by a pissed off Darth Vader, that sort of thing.
I'm still confused as to how the mando fell so fast in the waters of mandolor, bo literally had to turn on the jets just to catch up and find him all the way down knocked out, was he dragged down and shook like a rag doll by the mithasor? Like wtf happened there????
Well i mean technically a lot of nazi doctors were brought into nasa

They're making everything good then what happened to Obi-Wan Kenobi one off series..
It was a waste of talent..
I don't think I liked seeing a TEDtalk on DNA re-sequencing n Starr Wars.
After WWII, the OSS did indeed hire several former Nazi officials! (Look up the Gehlen organization). Real sketchy stuff. I see some parallels
two words: Operation Paperclip
I haven’t seen anyone talk about Grogu trying to say This Is The Way ☹️☹️☹️

Loved the episode, but the lack of security on Coruscant was ridiculous!
Not even a minute in and y’all bashing free speech while a guy’s talking about cloning lmaooooo
Imagine the actress that plays that soldier is casted for Abby!!

This episode gave me Operation Paperclip –> Marvel Hydra vibes
Didn’t really need the docs story ark. Tbh it was kinda mid

Yeah, because using mind-altering machines is a good way to ensure freedom of speech and transcend the evil empire…
"Operation Paperclip" in Star Wars lore…nice
You guys are hilarious! Thanks the review and laughs. 😎👏😎👏
Litrely The USA and allies fought over which Nazis were useful for them after the war. Especially scientists. Same as this
Yall clearly never looked up operation paperclip
Am i the only who just didn’t care about Dr. Pershing at all but because I was more invested in what mando and Bo were doing and going through than this side plot, still a good ass episode though
I sense a presence, a presence I haven't felt since Rebels Episode Family Reunion – and Farewell………..
Slowly build up to the First Order
The sub plot took 30 minutes to explain that empire working to prevent their cloning science from being used…. This whole episode has Thrawn written all over it. The sub plot and Bo's house getting bomb smell like one of Thrawn's llong con schemes.
I was expecting Kane to be leading dr into a trap with him being kidnapped by active imperials and forced to continue his research.
Lost me at “lets appreciate the sequel trilogy”
Reagan was a great President. He was elected to 2 terms in a landslide by both Republicans and Democrats.
It is PHOTON fizzes, as in photons =light particles 😄
You guys realize that this episode is a play on the USA after WWII Right?
Retaining top officials, scientists, etc. Continuing secret experiments and so forth. This is what the USA did to a T with Hitler's top people.

I think we saw Dr. Pershings clone in this episode.
"Proto-Snoke"
I think they missed it.
Almost at 4m fellas!
These actors were absolutely terrible. They were baaaad
tongdays… am i rite ?
In a perfect universe, I'd be watching Star Wars and eating yellow biscuits with these two awesome cats.
I took him tugging his ear as his tell for when he's lying
