  1. Probably should have mentioned both Ynnari and World Eaters in the 'top section' – both seem to be roughly around 51-54% with low player numbers (World Eaters due to codex not being out long). Could be potential targets for balance changes I guess, might depend on how well they do over the next month or so…

  2. The crying about Codex Warfare is dumb. It takes killing off 8 units of your opponent's army to max. 8 whole units. If you max it, that means you won the game anyways because you've tabled your opponent. The crybaby-fest from melee ABC armies is intense. Iron hands have a garbage faction secondary but no crying about changing it? You can take it with Codex and hope you shoot your opponent off the board, but 9/10 you're not going to max it. While GSC and other armies literally just have to be on the table to max out their 2ndary. Marines have 3 months in the spotlight and it's all "nerf this" "nerf that", but not a month before the change those same people were like "marines are in a bad place" (sanguine guard blood angles aside).

  3. Why is 100% of 40k talk all about how broken the game is and what needs fixing? How long has 9th Ed. or even 40k existed for and yet we can still all say it is broken pay-to-win rubbish. Do better GW

  4. Raven Guard actually scored 5 points in a game, GW will probably be addressing this to give them another nerf. Probably only able to have their army ability once per game and increase it to 36 inches to activate.
That’s how 9th has felt to me. Not my edition. Lol

  5. Here is my hot take on the situation of Space Marines, each chapter is the equivalent of a sub-faction so if the chapter sucks than too bad. Every faction in the game has bad sub-factions that never see play but the fact is even when the bad chapters compete they still get decent win percentages. Compare that to Dalyth tau or pure Wych Cult Drukhari, you start seeing win percentages at 0%.

  6. Making ravenwing and deathwing a cost upgrade with specialist units having the keyword baked into the profiles, like terminators and black knights. The units that are generic among all marine armies would have to pay the tax to gain said keyword. Charging 10pts per model to include a keyword adds up. It still allows other factions to use said units without incurring a penalty.

  7. As a Deathwatch player, there are 3 things that I think are holding us down: Special Issue Amunitions is pretty useles since only a few datasheets have it and overall are not very good themselves. Veterans are overpriced, regardless of gear, there is always another primaris unit that does it better and cheaper. And the most important, overpriced stratagems, most notably Special Issue Loadout (2cp to nerf your weapon to Heavy1), Brotherhood of Veterans (Which was changed in Boarding Actions to 1cp, so there's hope) and Shroud Field which is useless since the Aircraft change. Also, we have no interaction with Leagues of Votann despite being classified as xenos…weird they haven't said anything about it yet.

  8. 2 things that i am adamant about:
-The meta was in a really good and definitly better place before Arks dropped
-I dont mind GSCs high win rate since they are a really interesting army to play against, since its not the basic "push two battle lines closer together each round" that usually is 40k. Let them be on the top for longer so that more people buy and play them.

  9. I hope the custodes don’t get there stratagems once per game back that was stupid, the only nerf and a little buff they should get is remove the emperors chosen nonsense to change subfaction and replace that with something else, and e small buff to the 1- Ap ability from the Aquilan shield, that is utter useless with all the AP bonuses and the space marine spam who all have AP 2 with doctrines

  10. I feel an easy fix to Iron Hands is to remove the reroll 1s in Dev Doctrine. Still allow them to ignore the penalty for move n shoot with them, but not get the reroll 1s. It's a downgrade, but doesn't drastically drop them, to somewhere near the imperial fists lol.

  11. Sick to death of the CONSTANT rules changes making every single rules book irrelevant. The rules books amount to over £100 to play a single army before you've even bought a single miniature and they're immediately defunct. Sort it out GW

  12. dude, this is bananas , Ive never heard such nonsense… explain to me, do we treat ALL SM chapters as one? or not? Because you use both as a idea to nerf SM. If you treat them separatly, nerf IH, but boost Imperial Fists, Ultramarines, etc, If you treat them as one, leave them , dont nerf IH. You cant have both. It is childish like whole GW – "wanna" balance game…

  13. When armies get launched with new codex and models they are seriously buffed, people rush out to buy and then a few months get nerfed proper. Almost sounds like a bizarre GW sales strategy that works for them.

  14. Honestly, without completely butchering Custodes again I feel the main issue is that Wardens are allowed 10 man squads which makes the rerolls excessively powerful. If they remove our obsecs again we will go straight back to being way below. Prefer they just limit the squad sizes back down to 5.

  15. On one hand I’m glad that the gaurd are winning stuff… on the flip side I am going to a grand tournament today and there are 8 imperial gaurd players coming so I’m scared

  16. The Space Marine Doctrine change was a bad idea. They should have allowed the option of allowing Devastator Doctrine 2 turns just like Tactical and Assault. Also, Stop with the free weapons and wargear…

  17. GW needs to review all Necron units that do 1D6 Attacks and 1D6 Damage. No other 9th Codex has this many Datasheets for example Void Dragon, Doomstalkers, Doomsday Ark, Monolith, Transcendant C'Tan, etc…

  18. Really not excited to have everyone revert to indexes – I was super happy to get a new 9th book last year and am really enjoying playing it. Honestly if they just reset everything I think I'll just give up on keeping up, waiting years for a book that only lasts one year is a miserable existence.

  19. They should look into fixing the imperial and chaos knights, to encourage using the larger knights. Almost since their codexi, the smaller ones has been spammed, especially in chaos knights, to the point of the big ones not being present at all.

  20. I find it amusing that gw looked at armywide transhuman on tyranids and went "nope, op", then let the dark angles continue to have it. Don't get me wrong. It was way to strong on tyranids, but I feel armywide transhuman just shouldn't really be a thing

  21. I feel Astra Militarum is in a great position right now, save for one thing I hope gets a buff: CATACHANS AND SERGEANT HARKER ARE WORTHLESS AND THERE IS NO REASON TO TAKE THEM EVER OUTSIDE OF A MEME LIST.
