Is this a open world game?
An idea rarely implemented into action games – especially horror – is the "discovery" of secret actions to attack and/or dispatch enemies. Usually we "earn" these actions as we level up and progress thru a game.
MK11's Brutalities required specific conditions ranging from the type of attacks used to position, timing, etc. Such a concept should be used much more in depth in games like this as part of the basis of the action just to mitigate repetitve actions. The more creative the devs are, the more creative the players can be.
