kalvin he is a proper fishman hes really usefull to catch fished while you build + explore hes gonna fish and you have alot of fish that means you never gonna starv to death 😀

You can put a gps marker on a stick, you can also give a marker to Virginia. So you can see where she is.
To those that talk about the Kelvin Log bug, where he steals your structure logs = Instruct him to Build -> Complete Structure instead of gather logs. Then he will collect logs not already on structure, and if there are no logs, I saw him chop a tree down to collect more logs. Hope this helps.
I gave the 4 legged lady a GPS and gun. And she hangs around and helps me fight around camp and I can find here on the gps I got.

With kelvin, I order him to do stuff like fill the log pile up, he will go get 1 log after I walk far enough away from him, once he’s done the first he will come to find me where ever I am and just stand in front of me. What’s up with that?
how do you use the sled to drag things?
I don’t know if you have figured it out yet but with the gps markers you have to place a stick in the ground than attach the gps locator to the stick for markers on your map

If you save at one of those tent like you see in the back, if there are items, grab them save at tent quit game reload that save they respond. Does for me anyway when I do it.
Eh how do u change the zoom in and zoom out on the gps
3:30 that is actually a topcon GTS-239W, its for land surveying and im actually amazed that they put one in the game. Ive never seen them in a game before. Its not a surveillance thing, its basically a set of binoculars that has a lazer that will store the coordinates of what your looking at through the topcon. Just a lil piece of info for anyone curious
The survey equipment needs a shovel to dig up the bunker hatch. It’s in the dirt between them

I’m playing this now first survival game Iv actually sat down and played, I like it a lot, but man I have no idea how you go about moving forward lol. I find a spot for base I spend hours building then I’m like ok gotta explore…. Then I’m like well this place is prob better than the last start building there…. Then I’m like ffs I just spent 3 hours building the first base now Iv gotta do it again

I was launching logs down a hill to kelvin to store ans now I 1 hit kill enemies. Didn't realise I was building strength lol
Tech armour is NOT WORTH THE PRICE YOU WILL PAY and believe me it's EXPENSIVE AS SHIT. it only lasts a little bit longer than creepy. as such the resources you have are better spent on arrows and the flask.
And the 1st thing you need to get is the 9mm pistol. it's located on the coast with a purple ! about 200m offshore inside an orange inflatable guarded by 2 sharks, (so watch for them) and they can be killed. there is also a box of 9mm ammo for it next to a body propped against a rock on the beach in the general area. place a tent next to the body, save and exit the game. when you re-enter the ammo has respawned. rinse and repeat for "unlimited ammo". will take a bit tho cos you will only get 3-4 rounds every time you pick up the ammo.
My kelvin is really dumb, he stands in my fire pit an catches on fire, hes had several trees fall on him….hes just not smart lol

If you tell Kevin to build shelter he’ll make a tent which you can take the tarp off of if you need one

Scrolling the mouse wheel doesn't zoom the gps map for me.
Another tip is after you make the bow you can one shot cannibals if you dome them in the head with one arrow oh and the aiming reticle for the bow is the tip of the arrow if no one figured it out.
Put down a stick then attach the gps to the top of it

Love the footage but the tips were super weak. Not the most helpful but basic is good for someone who wants to watch but not get much from it so their experience can be independent of actual tips.
