  1. Not a perfect remake, I couldnt play the game for a month due to technical issues, they were misleading on how "faithful" they were going to be, even bragging about how they changed artwork to add in their politics. 10/10 game if it was an actual faithful remake of dead space 2008

  2. Gameplay wise game is just amazing. Only thing I notice that is bit strange compared to original for the better or worse is that game is kinda dark. In original you can see fairly well while in remake there are a lot of places where it is somewhat hard to see.

  3. Gaming companies are fianlly figuring it out. Single player is more attractive and cheaper to make since they won't have to make multiplayer and just focus on making single player fun

  4. So the term for the audio and music changing based off actions in game play is called "Adaptive Music" or "Dynamic Music"…it's absolutely fucking awesome!!
Fun fact: the first instance of TRULY Adaptive Music in games was first seen(/heard) in Monkey Island 2 back in 1991!

  5. I always thought Isaac was Indian or something. It was great to see a non white dude as a main character and be a bad ass. The game is better just sucks he was used as a tool to please the masses. Still good though and sucks that it changed.

  6. Talking about a sci-fi horror game, while having Metroid Fusion OST play in the background. *Chef's kiss*. Really good video Sir ActMan! I didn't fully beat the original game because it scared me so bad I returned it, the remake gave me a sense of determination to redeem myself. Plus, I also wanted to commemorate the original developers and the new developers for their respective works as well. They did the series well. 🥹

  7. Felt like most of the weapons in the original Dead Space were useless because the developers really wanted to show off the amputating gameplay with angular weapons, so nerfed the general purpose/direct fire weapons. Sounds like a massive improvement that they are now actually useful, even the alternate fire modes. Nothing annoyed me more in the original was finding how weak the ripper was and that you would eat hits just trying to use it since it didn't stun at all.

  8. Thank you for this amazing review!
When I first played the original Dead Space, it blew me away. It was, together with RE2, the best horror game I played back then.
And both games were remade with such love and passion that the remakes now hold the same place in my horror loving heart as the originals do.
The RE2 and Dead Space remakes are absolute masterpieces and hopefully will leave their impact on this generation of gamers, just as they did back in the days.

  9. I honestly loved the hell out of this game, really the only criticisms I could have of it were the load in problems sometimes making enemies invisible as well as failing to load dialogue and characters during some cutscenes, and the removal of a shop in the U.S.M. Valor that helped out tremendously in the original, but with its removal left me with an overabundance of items needing to be dropped in an area of the game I'll never see again.

  10. The fear of the remake is more DS2 than the original
Also the new look of necro isn't as scary as the original even if they loss skin

Guess the new dev didn't had the guts to reference dead bodies from WW1 and car accidents

Is it just me or did they downgrade the sounds in the game
Necro roars didn't gave me goosebumps and the background sounds didn't made me paranoid
Random background scream didn't helped 🙄

I mean the all gender bathrooms make sense in the fact that it’s probably pretty expensive to build massive space ship that also cracks planets to harvest so you need to be mindful of the space used for smaller luxuries hinted at the fact that even the deluxe bedrooms had bunkbeds and it’s only when you got to the executive area that they had individual bedrooms
