Hello dj Envy, you are absolutely correct about Uber and Lyft driver. I drive for both and we get like 30 to 40 % of whatever they charge the rider. And we rate our riders immediately they are dropped off and most riders give tips way after, so bad ratings are not because a rider tips or not. 90% of the time the driver is accused of fake stuff. Think about it this way, it's their job, the rider rates their driving, the cleanliness of their car, their attitude etc. There is no reason for a riders to be having bad ratings. If a rider has bad ratings, it means that riders is trouble. I personally refuse to pick up riders with less than 4.5 ratings. I just want to avoid problems. Drivers are been attacked, lied upon, insulted, disrespected etc all the time. It's true that there are some bad drivers too but a very insignificant number.
That’s right, I use to drive for Uber. The get about 60 to 70% of the earnings.
