  1. It's so nice too a game that's similar to Kingdom Rush. I grew up playing that so watching Reto play something that's so similar yet so fresh warms my heart so much.

Also, my heart just melts every time an Eggy comes out 🥺

  3. Being proficient in UI UX, it was so painful to see there could be a few simple tweaks to make the flow feel much better:
    – smaller, less distracting Sell button. it is not commonly clicked, it should be way smaller and optional.
    – checkpoint button for unit towers could be avoided if you just select and right click instead of having a whole button for it. its a often used micro control, and slows down the flow a lot having to click twice to a simple action.
    Just the most obvious ones.

  4. Hey Retro, you should check out Dungeontop, it’s a deck builder dungeon crawler roguelite with a unique grid based almost SRPG battle system. It’s got loot and level ups, meta progression, and a unique risk/reward take on getting meta currency.

This one flew over everyone’s radar but it’s probably my third favorite game in the style after Spire and Inscryption

  5. Kingdom rush, although not a rogulike, has basically the same tower system (with split upgrade paths) and defensive units, although it is more of an campaign style with less random towers.
