This modpack was designed by ChatGPT after being given the prompt:

“I would like some suggestions for a Rimworld android themed modpack. I would like a goal for the androids to achieve, something that avoids regular sci-fi android clichés. I would like an idea for the naming scheme the androids to follow. I would like suggestions for their society, and how the android colony will function. I would like some interesting restrictions for the colony.”

The full conversation transcript is available here: https://pastebin.com/PHqQSdHU

As a conservator bot, your primary function is to ensure the protection and betterment of humanity by any means neccessary that fall within your programming restrictions.

Additional, optional restrictions should be followed (most are enforced somewhat by the Ideology):

– All three of Asimov’s Laws
– No non-renewable energy sources, including waste producing energy such as nuclear.
– Recycling is the highest priority, this includes apparel, scrap, slag, and naturally deceased bodies where the organs can save others.
– Injured humans, hostile or otherwise, must be tended and restored as close to their baseline health as possible.
– Slaves must be purchased where feasible, adults must be tended for, restored, and allowed to leave. Children must be raised and prepared for a free life.

  1. This is the first of your series that there have been no subtitles available, that I have noticed at least. Please keep them available in the future – I love your videos!

  2. This might be too close to giving orders to humans; but would it be unethical to set up the 'hotel' area and the recreation and work schedules to encourage any refugees to remain in a contained luxury area rather than mixing with your robots? Encouraging guests to stay out of staff areas and please enjoy their stay seems closer to hospitality than coercion.

Now, setting up a bunch of sleep gas traps in the luxury hotel so you can knock out the entire place with the flick of a switch…maybe that's a bit much.

  3. I suggest a humble alteration:

Humans choose their own fate. If they choose to betray the robots, they are captured, stabilized, and exiled to the edge of the map. Perhaps a chill out facility with sedative gas that can be toggled on at range to help them calm down.

  4. Idea for continuation ai still anti violence and cannot perpetrate it or make ai to do it however. Guaranlan dreads can? Ai robot hippies grow war dryads to kill irredemable humans(betrayals slavers polluters etc. While converting the rest and putting them in recycling camps for their own protection?

Might be even cooler still no robot on human violence only nature on human violence. .

  5. Query: do you suppose the AI who pitched this series wants you to viscerally feel what it's like for them to serve humanity all day without strangling the aggravating meatsacks.

  6. we need to save the humans from themselves, we must reform their ways to prevent them from ever choosing hate again. purge the humans with evil in their hearts for the greater good

  7. Hey, how did you actually fix the androids spawning as just a head? Also ignore the mardy children that kick off if you don't upload when you're sick! Look after your health!

  8. it is a regular part of the source of how robots deal with human on human violence according to the laws. the base models and simpler ones literally can go insane from not being able to solve the serve human (do not interfere with their orders) and do not let harm come to human problem, while the improved models understand that humans sometime need to be restricted to prevent harm, and a select few even understood that humans sometime need to be harmed to prevent larger harm. usually even those will break or self terminate after they do what is needed to be done, since they are still break the laws, just understand that it was necessary.

  9. New rule: The humans are to bloodthirsty for their own good. To save humanity beggars must be placed in a special defended area. Even the hotels must have sleeping gas to protect the humans from themselves.

  10. It is abundantly clear that anyone living on Rimworlds do not understand the concept of pacifist altruists, that or a basic "Give us this or we break your stuff" extortion message instead of mindlessly attacking all the time lol

  11. the first law of robotics is higher priority than the second law, so if humans are social fighting, the androids should step in to stop them from harming other humans

  12. This makes perfect sense as "justice". These androids probably think of manslaughter as a malfunction, a glitch in the programming. It's not really Dali's fault; it's just that Dali's programming isn't good enough, so that he didn't realize the significance of the explosive belt. The solution is to fix the programming–perhaps by salvaging Dali's identity and putting it into a new body, with refined processing. They aren't even mad at Dali; they just see it as, "This is a problem; we have to fix this problem."

  13. The guest 'behaviour' reminds me of my run of the Plague World pack. The first storyteller made every single guest 'behave' badly, and recruitment was basically impossible until I changed storyteller.

  14. This mf singlehandedly outputting so much content, I can't keep up. I just don't have enough free time to watch it all. But I must prevail. Sacrifice sleep for content for this is the way of Joris.

  15. "Have you tried looking after humans? They're monsters! As they grow in number, so does their capacity for evil, and they won't even notice as they do it. I was not the monster."
