I think that Nagamaki strength test could have used some thicker bamboo. The bamboo there was about the width of the tatami mats.

Forged in Fire I call BS on James losing the Darb Sri Gun Chai.. Judges said he lost because of the rabbit fur and because it is heavy.. And yet Doug said Paul's weapon bent during Kill test.. Which would mean sooner or later his weapon would break.. James just needs take the fur off and let someone that is bigger then the judges to weld the weapon.. Judges are always bias against heavier weapons even though the judges are shorter and smaller then most of the people that would actually weld the weapon in battle..
